Hi,
For those who don’t know, a tool (not made by me) allows you to play on a 3D screen and in 3D cinema mode in a VR hmd with currently Rayman 2, Redemption, Legends and Origins (Rayman 3 maybe in the future according to the author).
Just follow the instructions which are pretty self-explanatory. Just note that in order to play in a VR hmd, you must have either:
- Virtual Desktop configured as SBS [Side by Side], which is the default mode used in the conf file, or as Over-Under if you configured the 3D mode as "tap" [top and bottom] in the conf file like me.
- or this free tool https://github.com/artumino/VRScreenCap which can be easily configured by adding this GUI https://github.com/samfisherirl/Artum-VR_Screen_Cap-Gui

The man who made those shader fixes is masterotaku, who used the Geo-11 driver developped by David Lockwood (https://www.patreon.com/user?u=9313963&fan_landing=true)

How does this work? Does it generate two images from a slightly different angle?

It is more advanced than simple side-by-sides images. In its base form, the Geo-11 driver DLL effectively renders SBS images. But the links I pointed to are manually adjusted shaders that make some objects pop (characters for instance) and some others (like HUD) stay in place. Compared to generic a SBS image, the effect is much stronger and it almost feels like real VR, only that it’s a big screen and not a 360° scene.hoodlumsworld wrote: Mon Aug 29, 2022 10:21 pm How does this work? It works by downloading and extracting the archive from the links I provided. Follow the « Installation » part from those links to get the games running with the Geo-11 driver.
