Luckily, Plum was able to use this on Linux and has offered to help me. I'm just not in the mood right now to get help but it is possible to get it to work on Linux as far as I'm aware.

What have I recently been doing?

Finetuning the second level, by adding some decorative vases here and there:

Note that in the uploaded version here, the decorative cracks in the tiles are displaced and therefore sometimes floating in the air.

Started working on the third level, which will involve rising water - obviously massively in progress and likely to be completely changed:


Added a cutscene to go between the second and third level (because why is the water rising? Turns out the Knaaren are on to Rayman!):








Added eight Knaaren voices and four Gumsi voices (by taking the voices from Rayman 3 and reversing them, fun!).

Made the text both in textboxes and in cutscenes more legible:

I couldn't get it to work on Linux but I don't exactly know how to configure Wine or what to do, but yeah. There might be more stuff I would need to do, but yeah. Anyways, I was able to see the intro and cool.
I understand you uploaded the intro on YouTube. I hope you make the video public or put videos of the game in a public playlist on your channel if your okay with that. Anyways, I think you are doing a good job overall.

Yes, I am pretty sure. YouTube somehow resizes/stretches it or otherwise reduces the quality.

The 'official' name (for now) is 'Dormant Discord'. Or, Rayman 4: Dormant Discord.

Yes, though not much; I started working full-time again last week, so that didn't leave much time for entertainment. I did add some animations to some decorative objects though: https://streamable.com/9m14gb (the upper-right wall decoration has a small black tail dangling from it, visible at the very end of the video, but easily missed because of the dark background)

Nice work on the introduction scene! I also like how you introduced the Knaaren in the desert decorations.
