Yes I was asking if there was a way to get directly there, now I have just remembered about the cheat codes that could help me to skip some parts :P

I hope I won't be the only one to participate in this challenge but here's my run.
This was my first time ever speedrunning this game and I am pretty proud of my score, I am not a fan of slippery platforms but speedrunning it for this challenge was fun!
I used a savestate to reset the level quickly so I couldn't lose the rhythm and waste time, I hope it won't be a problem :)

Oh god, memories from Vietnam... :paranormal:
Probably won't be trying this one because of lack of time, but I will surely give a try to the monthly challenges in the future.

Amazing time! Any chance you could share that savestate? I don't have much time and will certainly not beat your score but I'd like to give it a try. It might also help others.

Thanks for sharing! Haven't found the time to give it a try so far, but I suppose we should extend the deadline given the number of participants so far?

Given this one hasn't gotten any more attention, I'm wondering whether to just declare the only person who entered in first place, and then move onto another challenge if anyone has any suggestions? Preferably one that might attract more contenders.

Hey, we once had a coding challenge at work that only had one entry. Of course the guy won first place.

If the next challenge is an R3 or Rayman M one, I would be able to participate.

Maybe we could have a poll to gauge interest for a Rayman 3 challenge first?

Sounds like a good idea then. I guess we would have do decide on whether it would be score based or time based etc.

So let's make it a Rayman 3 challenge, then! Ideally, I'd like one that also works for Rayman 3 HD, since it'll be easier for me to play on console. :)

As long as the challenge is not impacted by the differences in the scoring mechanics, we should be good, don't you think?

Most combos do not rely on taking that last green gem in combo, but yes, we can also stick to a speedrun.

I probably should have done something for this challenge. :oops2:
I'd say call Itz the winner and move on to the challenge 17, whatever it may be! Some of the challenges have had only one entry (one even had no entries).

It was a bit sad being the only participant, let's hope more people will join the next challenge! :D
