Re: Please introduce yourself here
Hi everyone! I'm aiturtwig and I'm a huge fan of Rayman. Who would have guessed it in a forum like this one? No one, I bet!
I remember that Rayman was one of the first games I played back when I was a child, and the series is still one of my favourites. Back then I played "Inglés con Rayman", "Matemáticas y Lenguaje con Rayman", "Rayman Designer" and "Rayman 2". I still have the original CDs and some of the booklets, but not the boxes!
I've also listened to their songs countless of times, sometimes even while I was doing homework, just to be in a relaxed mood. Those songs really do have something special in them, don't they?
Time passed and when I got older, I ended up finding RaymanPC and RayTunes. I sometimes lurked, downloaded some songs and not much more. I also bought a pack of CDs which included Rayman 3 and played a bit. It was fun to play, I should start it over again sometime.
A few weeks ago I thought I should replay Rayman 2 in my Steam Deck, to remember the gameplay (and discover all the levels I couldn't play when I was younger, and not as skilled as I am now). So far I've played like 10h in Rayman Revolution, and it's been lots of fun, but going from one level to another is a pain in the... neck, haha.
Another reason why I also created the account is because I was thinking of translating the PC version of Rayman 2, but that... is another topic I will deal in its thread, no worries!
Happy new year to everyone, and see you soon!

Re: Please introduce yourself here
Hello! I’m new to the forum. I’m a web comic artist, as well as an aspiring animator and sculptor. Rayman has always been a huge comfort in my life due to the fact my earliest memories of it were sitting on my dad’s lap and watching my dad play Rayman 1 (He still hasn’t beaten it yet after due to the fact he plays on and off, but I want him to beat it one day!). My sisters and I would play Rayman 3 on the GameCube and we absolutely loved it. Even now we constantly quote the games from the trilogy to each other so it means a lot to all of us.
Here’s hoping for a future for Rayman after the dlc! I want my dad to see how far his beloved character has come. I also have some exciting projects planned

Re: Please introduce yourself here
Hello everybody! New user here, although I already knew about the existence of this forum since many years ago.
I've been a fan of the Rayman saga since I was a kid back in the early 2000s. They were the first games of my life and I'm quite fond of them despite having spent much more time playing other videogames the last 12-13 years. During 2022 I ended up re-engaging with the saga and recently I'm enjoying it again as much or more than when I was much younger.
As I said, I have known about this forum for quite some time and it is admirable that there is such an active and talented community despite not having many official games after so many years. I hope I can do my bit for the forum, either by participating or helping in the translations of the RayWiki into Spanish, for example.
See ya!
PS: I guess it's a bit late... Happy New Year lol

Welcome to this place, aiturtwig, Mawpaw and DaveRattlehead! It's great to hear about all those cool projects, whether it's a new translation for Rayman 2, help with the Spanish RayWiki, or some secret exciting projects.
I look forward to it all.

Hello. I'm Flux. I'm shy and tend to lurk rather than interact but I'll try to be open. I'm a
hobbyist artist, though I feel a little shy to show it online. I might post stuff I've already
done if I get brave. Not really sure if I'll open up to being friends, personal reasons and
all. Sorry!
I've just been on a Rayman kick for a hot minute and figured it'd be fun to see stuff on here.
I really like the atmosphere and world of 2, and I think the series works the best as dark
fantasy. Something like NIMH or Dark Crystal, heavy with lore, quieter moments, an overall
more mysterious feel.
Hope one day they make a game more grounded/story based again. I like how fun
Origins/Legends was but I think theres a lot of potential for the stuff above.
I tend to talk a lot too lmao.

I'm a little shy, but would open up a bit if anyone wants to ask me anything.
Anyways hope to have some fun here.
