Well they made the game "easier" in GameBoy Advance... Maybe that's the answer?
I'll accept this, because I did not phrase the question clearly enough. You do get one in Rayman Advance, although not in the beginning.

Question 6: In Rayman 2 (PC/N64/DC), how many Super Yellow Lums are there in total in The Marshes of Awakening?
Only one answer per participant, please.

I remember it was always challenging in the PC version to begin the battle with full health as the closest Super Power is in the middle of the previous level with many obstacles still ahead of you!

I'll hazard a guess and say four, three in the cages near the end and another one somewhere (I think I remember a boat with one).

Indeed. And if you die, you are stuck with 3 hitpoints for all your subsequent attempts. This gives you almost no room for error, against 12 hitpoints and multiple attack patterns. For good reason, this is widely considered the hardest boss encounter in the PC/PSX versions.

Not quite. Recall that the level has two sections, and I think your memory is mixing parts of both of them.

Bwoah there were a lot, like 6/7 or something like that... 4 in the first section (3 in a row + another one somewhere) and the rest just dispersed through the second section. I'd say 7.

Eight is correct! I believe it is the most of any level, and it means only 10 YLs in that level are located outside of SYLs.
It's funny, I always noticed that about the first part of the Echoing Caves (which has 20 YLs entirely in SYLs) but never realized that the Marshes of Awakening makes even more use of them…
As for the question, is it because each one only replicates the first two attacks of their organic counterpart?

You know what's even funnier? The question about the 4 SYLs in the first part of Echoing Caves was one I contemplated asking.

Correct. Another way to put it is that you only need to hit them two and not three times, but it's all the same.

Question 8: Name two exclusive abilities that Rayman gets in Rayman Revolution, which he does not have in other versions of Rayman 2.
PluMGMK got 2 points in a row and should skip this question.
I don't remember the names, but I know one of them consists on "multiplying" the energy balls around the room once they hit the wall/enemy, so they're just bouncing everywhere and can hit the enemy again, an the other one consists on a huge explosion after you hit something with a charged shot.
