Rayman statuette

Post by lucky3 »

Hey guys!

Just wanted to share with you a Rayman statuette I've designed based on R2 style, and got 3D printed with colors and textures. Quite happy with the result!

Wow that's really cool! How long did it take to print that?

Hey thanks for your feedback!
About the print: took a few weeks for the company to print and ship it. 3D printers got updated lately with some "high definition color" technology, while it's still quite expansive it's starting to get affordable for individuals to order small statuettes. The material is like plaster, so it can break easily, handle with care. Another material available for this kind of print is nylon, it's shock resistant and plastic-like but more expansive.

Thanks for the explanation, I had no idea such technology existed!
Maybe it's time to learn some 3D modelling so I can have a figure too :P
