Just wanted to share with you a Rayman statuette I've designed based on R2 style, and got 3D printed with colors and textures. Quite happy with the result!

About the print: took a few weeks for the company to print and ship it. 3D printers got updated lately with some "high definition color" technology, while it's still quite expansive it's starting to get affordable for individuals to order small statuettes. The material is like plaster, so it can break easily, handle with care. Another material available for this kind of print is nylon, it's shock resistant and plastic-like but more expansive.
