Howdy! This post may be merged with my original fangame post if need be.
So! As the title suggests, I started developing my fangame with Unity instead of GameMaker Studio 2, because it just didn’t want to work and it grew old very fast. So I went over to Unity and it’s a much smoother experience.
My main problem is that I don’t have a team to help make the game, I did when I had GMS2, but I don’t want to pressure them into getting a software they’re unfamiliar with. So I’m asking you all, the ones who have Unity and/or who have experience with it if you’d like to join the team! Right now, I’m practically manning the ship by myself (editing sprite palletes, adding sound effects/music, artwork, coding) and I’d like to have a band of people to help out, coding especially since I’m pretty much stuck and trying to Rayman/Reesie’s hovers to work correctly and getting the more important mechanics implemented.
TL;DR, if you like, consider joining the Mr. Dark’s Last Stand team! Currently all the assets are available, I just wanna finish editing Reesie’s palletes before sending the .unity file.
Needed:
Coders 1/2 (I’m one of the coders, don’t know how many are needed haha)
Artists (for artwork for the game basically)
Bug finders
Playtesters
I’ll delete this if a mod asks.
Thank you for your time and hope to see you on the team!

You could try to learn coding and do a prototype of the fangame. Getting that many people at the start of the project may be a little hard. But with time and visible progress more people should be interested in helping

I do have some basic code down, like the movement. Just getting Rayman’s helicopter hair to work properly (i.e activating it when pressing the jump button again) is definitely tricky.
I’m actually on Unity right now so I can try to get a prototype finished, at least I hope I can. With the basic movement I got right now.
