Rayman 2 with 32 bit color palette on Voodoo 5
Is it possible to make it work in 1024x768 on real Voodoo 5 under windows 98? I tried just to replace GliVd1vf.dll but it keeps kick back to 640x480 in 16 bit color palette.

Ubi.ini modified to x32?
Re: Rayman 2 with 32 bit color palette on Voodoo 5
That simply doesn't work and kicks back to 640x480x16.

Originally, the trick worked only on Glide renderer. Did you pick Glide in GXSetup as well?
Also, don't launch GXSetup after editing ubi.ini to x 32 afterwards. It will revert the change.
Ahh. Now I remember. At least, Voodoo 3 doesn't support 32-bit color. However, it "has a special output filter that aparently improves the image quality of 16-Bit color games"

So any way to make it work under win98? The point of getting Voodoo 4 or 5 is support for 32 bit color palette.
And well, with any Voodoo I'm choosing glide except on V5 I'd love to use 32bit instead of 16. Also as mentioned, it kicks me back to 640x480x16 without using GXSetup after change.
