Re: How did you become a Rayman fan?
It was September 2018. I had just turned 15, and I would be getting a Switch the next month in preparation for the game. The wait was KILLING me. (well, at least it felt like that at the time.) In the meantime though, fighter speculation and a bunch of games I wouldn't have really ever heard of otherwise were plaguing my brain.
I was taking a peak at the EB Games in a fancy sorta town I don't normally visit, and Rayman Legends for Wii U was available secondhand really REALLY cheap. I think it was only 5 bucks. I remembered that Rayman's always been a pretty prevalent name in smash speculation, and that a close friend of mine quite enjoyed Rayman 2, so I decided "why not?" and decided to take the dive.
I then almost immediately got the game again when I got my Switch, The game immediately became one of my all time favorites, and the Rayman series became one of my favorite things ever.

Re: How did you become a Rayman fan?
I was 3 years old when I first played Rayman, my family had a PC that had the first Rayman game installed. I don't have any memory of it but my parents remember it was my favourite game despite it being too hard for a kid of my age!
One day that PC broke and they had to reinstall all the programs, my family isn't good with computers and they weren't able to install the game again because the installer was too complex for them, so I've been many years without Rayman but the desire to play it again never died.
I kept trying to install the game but since I was still a kid and I still didn't know much about computers I kept failing
One summer day, during the elementary school period I went into a bookstore that was also selling some NDS games, I already was a video game enthusiast at the time, so I immediately went to check out the games and one game in particular caught my eye, it was Rayman DS!
I remember I used to love Rayman when I was younger so I begged my mom to buy me it but she told me she would have bought it when I would have finished my holiday homework.
I always hated school and doing homework, but I wanted that game at all costs and so I spent all my free time finishing them as soon as possible so I could play that game, and after a few weeks I finally finished my homework and my mom went to get me the game as promised but.. she came back with nothing saying that the bookstore stopped selling games since they weren't selling them...
I will never forget that day and that sense of disappointment and pain would never have subsided if I never had that game (which then I got once I became an adult by buying it with my own money, so I am fine now
)
Many years later I went to a videogame museum, this museum had a PS3 with Rayman Origins, I played it and I loved it!
As soon I came back home I installed it on my laptop so I could continue playing it
Then I discovered there was a sequel that was released a few years before and I tried it immediately, this is where I began to join the community, at least the Rayman Legends community, I became a known player and modder there
I didn't forget the first Rayman game I ever played so I began to play the original trilogy and I loved it as well, discovering that Rayman 2 is my favourite!
I was still in the Rayman Legends community at the time and one day the community partnered with the Rayman community in general, I decided to join, I loved the place and here I am now!

Re: How did you become a Rayman fan?
It took me less than a day from coming to RPC back in 2018 and signing up. Though I feel like I visited RPC (or maybe it was Raymanzone) much earlier on one of my completions of R3 on my desktop and I had typed in the URL given to me for the Lums Quest. Can't remember how old I was though, which would really help determine which one of the 2 I had seen!
Re: How did you become a Rayman fan?
i first played origins and legends, then realized how much better the old games were

Heeeeeey, he’s allowed an opinion
Re: How did you become a Rayman fan?
Ok. Rayman 2 is the worst of the series and Ly is quite boring, in fact everything is quite boring, it looks like a kids TV movie :
- "Globox ! My frieeend !!!"
- "Here's a Silver Lum from Ly"
- "Ly the Fairyyyyy ???"
Rayman 3 developed much better the characters and their friendship contrarement to Rayman 2 which show us Globox in quite few scenes.

OPINIONS EXIST
OPINIONS EXIST
Re: How did you become a Rayman fan?
No need to say "it's crap" but, "it' s not my style of game"

Re: How did you become a Rayman fan?
Pretty sure he only said he preferred the older games, how did that translate to saying they were crap.....?
Also, it appears Dumbo has forgotten what happens when someone makes one-worded posts like these:
