Re: Riddles of the Glade - Round 28
It's not Mr. Dark.
Clue A: This character has remained limbless for each game they were in. (They were also not only in the first game.)
Clue B: They are in all of the mainline Rayman games.

Yes, correct. Nice
Re: Riddles of the Glade - Round 28
OK, let's see if I got the count correct...
Clue 5: This Rayman Origins level contains no lums.

Re: Riddles of the Glade - Round 28
No, not quite.
Clue 5: This Rayman Origins level contains no lums.
Clue 5b: This level also appears in Back to Origins, where it does have lums.

Re: Riddles of the Glade
Well, this concludes Round 28:
dr_st – 2 points => 250 Tings
The Jonster – 1 point => 150/2 = 75 Tings
arnoldfranklin – 1 point => 150/2 = 75 Tings
There's something oddly amusing about the disparity between individual Ting awards this time around, especially since the full "prize pot" simply isn't getting used these days due to lack of participation!
Maybe in future rounds we should just give the full Ting prize to everyone who ties for a place, instead of dividing it up (and sometimes getting half-Tings)…

Re: Riddles of the Glade
I suppose the Ting inflation this would cause is rather manageable.
Re: Riddles of the Glade
is this quiz still going guys?
Re: Riddles of the Glade
This quiz is only going between TTQ rounds (there is a mandatory gap of at least two weeks between TTQ seasons). So only one of the two quizzes is active at a given time.

Re: Riddles of the Glade - Round 28
Since the TTQ is on the break, shall we go back to the riddles?
Looks like I was in the middle of the clue, when we stopped last time, and I think I still remember the answer.
So does anyone want to give a try?
Clue 1: This Rayman Origins level contains no lums.
Clue 1b: This level also appears in Back to Origins, where it does have lums.

Re: Riddles of the Glade
Man, the day that this game thread of all things would stagnate.
(and anyways I have no idea what the answer to the recent clue would be since I haven't played Legends for awhile now
)
I guess if this ever does pick up again we'll have to do something about that, huh? But, it's true that activity as of late hasn't really been focused here, which is understandable I guess....PluMGMK wrote: Wed Jun 01, 2022 9:00 pm There's something oddly amusing about the disparity between individual Ting awards this time around, especially since the full "prize pot" simply isn't getting used these days due to lack of participation!Maybe in future rounds we should just give the full Ting prize to everyone who ties for a place, instead of dividing it up (and sometimes getting half-Tings)…

If this is still open, I'll give it a try. I'll guess The Mamma of All Nightmares.dr_st wrote: Mon Jan 09, 2023 9:24 pm Clue 1: This Rayman Origins level contains no lums.

Clue 1b: This level also appears in Back to Origins, where it does have lums.
Clue 1c: The level uses a somewhat unique visual style.

Re: Riddles of the Glade - Round 29
Maybe we can give this another go now.....

What do you think about tiebreaker rounds though?
Do you still remember your Q&A? If you do I'll take a guess and say Shoot for the Stars. Probably gonna be wrong thoughdr_st wrote: Tue Apr 18, 2023 7:54 am OK, let me recall what I had in mind.

Yeah honestly, I don't have a problem with this; half-Tings are kind of something I don't want to deal with tbh.PluMGMK wrote: Wed Jun 01, 2022 9:00 pm There's something oddly amusing about the disparity between individual Ting awards this time around, especially since the full "prize pot" simply isn't getting used these days due to lack of participation!Maybe in future rounds we should just give the full Ting prize to everyone who ties for a place, instead of dividing it up (and sometimes getting half-Tings)…

Yes, I remember it. Thanks to Clue 1c, otherwise it's too generic.The Jonster wrote: Fri Aug 18, 2023 10:22 pm Maybe we can give this another go now.....

Anyhow, Clue 1d: This level is a treasure chase level.

Ok, ummmm is it Tricky Temples?
Re: Riddles of the Glade – Round 29
Is there a unique visual style in Tricky Temples?
Clue 1e: The level is dark. (that should give it away

Heh, now if only someone who’s played Origins or Legends lately could answer!
