First of all, I would go back to 3D games. Yes, UbiArt's style is beautiful, I'm not denying that, but I think a return to 3D would increase the hype for many, many people.
I would like the game to be an open world in the Glade of the Dreams. I don't mean an open world like Rayman Revolution, which could be quite chaotic without a map, but a well designed open world, with the Glade of Dreams very alive and as colorful and magical as ever, with the possibility of interacting with the different characters that inhabit it, either to continue the story, to do secondary activities, and why not, some other mini-games. I think it would be interesting to see some RPG elements in this game, either modifying Rayman's clothes or improving different attributes of the character, such as sprint speed, swimming ability, helicopter duration... And even some more "curious" attributes, such as his weight. It would also be interesting to be able to alternate the ability to shoot with the ability to throw the fist, thus combining the classic Rayman attack with the attack we saw in Rayman 2. These attack modes could be incorporated somehow in the attributes to improve the character.
I also think it would be a perfect opportunity to give some coherence to Rayman's lore. After all, that's a job that Ubisoft itself should have done back in the past, right?
Now RPG elements definitely sounds interesting. It sounds far from what the series is known for, but I know sometimes the best decisions are the riskier ones, especially when it comes to a new installment in a franchise. I’m with you on some plot line repair as well! Very desperately needed in a series like Rayman

Yes it would, I’m also gonna join the fun of writing long paragraphs
So I would like, as you said, a vast open world like the one in the switch duology of TLoZ, with certain characters from other rayman titles and maybe even other games? That’d be going back to the original plot
Also, that’d just be a bonus, all i really want is…
MR. DARKS RETURN
Mr. Dark is one of those characters that I would really love to see in 3D. The way he can bend and contort and the flowing of the cape would just be magnificent

I refuse to believe that little teensy is what’s beneath the cloak, I also heard he’s just a fan so I believe that
Who Ales Mansay? In no way would I think he is Mr. Dark!
Ah, I never played the Gameboy versions! I can’t imagine that would be done for anything other than a visual gag, though. Mr. Dark is far more intimidating than this!

Definitely, also we shouldn’t start jumping to who he is unmasked, because his point is to be mysterious
Now that I think of it, I’m kinda glad he just mysteriously vanished at the end of rayman 1 because it suits his character
Agreed! The less known about a threat, the more intimidating it becomes. I feel like Rayman 1 doesn’t just insinuate that he got away unscathed, but that he’s probably still watching Rayman through those very same binoculars to this day. So spooky!
