I've a few ideas about what we can do to make it harder to double-post (especially accidentally) but again, I'm not a web-dev, so I dunno if they'll ever happen

This is kinda unrelated but I just wanted to point of the sort by rank option on find-a-member is very broken

Well, that's if you sort by posts. If you sort by rank, I think it might be sorting by the rank ID or something, I'll have to look closer after RD finishes…

I've always found it baffling how this seemingly random alternative spelling always finds its way into people's posts.

A quick search reveals a bunch of occurrences by GameNerd in 2004, then El Dango taking over in 2008, followed by CheatCat in 2009... and finally Greengoop, who has apparently decided to revive this weird tradition.

Were both options to share the same pronunciation, this would probably have gone unnoticed, but how one can confuse "Say-losh" with "Suh-lo-shay" is a whole different story.
