There seem to be a lot more of them than there used to be. I think sometimes I even get them on my own videos…

Gotta love adsense huh?
Something that's over time begun to annoy me is my dog going either in front of my room or in the room I happen to be staying in. Or if she doesn't go on her pad. This morning I slipped on her piss walking downstairs and almost damaged a painting.

I was about to say: "When people don't disclose the art they posted it's AI generated.", but I think I've done the same thing, I've to stop doing that (even if it's very obvious that it is AI generated).

I've heard rumors about this AI art, my question is though, who profits off this really? Is it just the person who created the program? I doubt the actual artist would get credit for anything the AI creates with their art.

I think that's one of the areas where the law needs to catch up with the new reality

Yep. I think DeviantART gives you 5 free prompts to use their Dream Up image generator, and if you want to use it more you have to pay. Craiyon has different plans that allow you to use better versions of the service. There is still debate regarding if that AI does is considered fair use or not, who knows how the legislation will change in the future. The Jonster wrote: Fri Aug 25, 2023 11:22 pm I've heard rumors about this AI art, my question is though, who profits off this really? Yeah this is a real thing, and it's scary what AI could start doing very soon. It already copies voices pretty accurately if a person puts in enough effort. The Jonster wrote: Fri Aug 25, 2023 11:22 pm I've heard rumors about this AI art, my question is though, who profits off this really? I agree, I don't think AI practically stealing art from others who work hard to create their pieces is a good idea.PluMGMK wrote: Fri Aug 25, 2023 11:28 pm I think that's one of the areas where the law needs to catch up with the new reality![]()

Re: Things that boil your blood!
As much as I've laughed at and made a few memes to make friends laugh with AI, I would never support the use of it over actual artists, voice actors, etc. But I think the important thing is that we don't let AI discourage us from creating! Let's keep drawing, singing, voice acting, and doing it all with the very thing AI cannot replicate; feeling!

Well good luck to AI trying to steal how I smell! The Jonster wrote: Fri Aug 25, 2023 11:33 pmI agree, I don't think AI practically stealing art from others who work hard to create their pieces is a good idea.PluMGMK wrote: Fri Aug 25, 2023 11:28 pm I think that's one of the areas where the law needs to catch up with the new reality![]()

Hopefully smellevision never becomes a thing
[It probably won't, because it'd probably need canisters of different aromatic chemicals to release on cue, which would have to be replaced over time and probably represent a hazard in case of a leak!]

What boils my blood? THE HITBOX IN ARK IS SHIT. Shots rarely register when I try to tranq a dino. Only for the dino to get clapped by other wild creatures while I reload my rifle. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Re: Things that boil your blood!
(It's record day, so I might as well start posting!)
I hate it when I say something to someone and even though I'm speaking loud & clear, I always seem to have to repeat myself. I'm not soft spoken, but I hate wasting my breath. It wastes my time, it's annoying...And frankly I feel like I'm not being heard, like the two elders (gramps & aunt) of the house just flat out don't listen to me. They're old so I try to speak as loudly as I can without yelling. But again, there's times I'm like...3 feet away and I STILL have to repeat myself.
I feel like I'm not alone on this though, which is a bit of solace at least.

Re: Things that boil your blood!
I feel you… Not exactly the same thing, but I've had a sensation of "explanation fatigue" at work over the last year or so, with lots of new management and oversight coming in, so I have to keep explaining the same things over and over again to people who aren't really involved but need to know/understand the details when they have to give their opinion on a plan…

Not sure, it's got so much stuff dissolved in it that that might increase its boiling point. Or does it reduce it? I need to revise my Chemistry
