Ever heard of TARC?

After all this time, I can still visualize that MS Paint-made animation of poor Adam's head being shot. I wonder if it's still out there somewhere?

I think this is different this time. Origins seems like it was made by a team of people who didn’t really know Rayman very well, but this team seems to have grown up with the original games, as well as having Soliani genuinely care about the input of the fans.

Yeah, I'm hoping that's different. Wasn't Michel involved in Origins though?

Indeed he was, but I think he'd been wanting to do something different for a very long time, and was simply tired of Rayman. That's why it ended up being 100% gameplay-focused, with no lore, slapstick humor and, of course, pig latin.

Indeed he was, but I think he'd been wanting to do something different for a very long time, and was simply tired of Rayman. That's why it ended up being 100% gameplay-focused, with no lore, slapstick humor and, of course, pig latin.

All terribly true I guess Origins was probably the first thing he worked on after the original BG&E2 project was canned, so he went completely in the opposite direction…

Well, that gives me more hope that things will be different this time around!

Origins is Awesome !!!!!!!

It plays great, and I overall enjoyed it! But it misses important things to feel like a Rayman game to me.

Same, I'm expecting to get Sparks of Hope in the mail tomorrow though so maybe I can prep for the dlc!

I've been doing the same for a couple weeks, and it's definitely worth it as some aspects of the game take a bit of time to get used to. I haven't gotten very far though, as I don't have much time to play it.
