They had this obsession with making EVERYONE Teensies, for some reason. There was even a scrapped Mr Dark Teensie.

Definitely. Teensies are fine, but there is room for more than just one species in Rayman's world.

Humans in Rayman is something I just cannot get behind. I know they tried it with Barbara, but I firmly believe a dream world should have whimsical creatures in it

I actually liked the princesses as they were basically a playable more appropriate take on the Nymphs, but it's true they kind of miss the magic of the other species usually featured in the series. At least some of them had pretty creative designs.

Clearly they did. Anything other than humans would have gotten a better(?) reaction. And then on top of that, where's the personality??? It's like they just threw in a bunch of random generic npc characters that happen to be playable when you unlock them, just for the sake of being there.

I thought Eat at Joe's was a pretty cool level with its unique content like the flying saucers and the fish, and the fact that you basically make a return trip through the caves. The developers intended for this to be more obvious, but some of it ended up being cut from the final game.

Yeah i knew something was up after phase 4 when I looped back to the start but didn't catch on until phase 5 when I realize that there was something there now ot the right when nothing was there during phase 3.

I like the fact Rayman Redemption gave more use to the unused space in Eat at Joe's section 3 by hiding the Globox easter egg there.

It's really a unique level with plenty of great ideas, but the aquatic section simply killed any good reputation it could have got

Yeah, it's tough as you have to jump precisely on invisible bouncy tiles to get to him. Otherwise, you can use the "HELIPOWR" cheat code to fly to his location if it's way too hard.
Also just in case, are you playing in the latest version of the game (1.1.4)? Some easter eggs like Michel Ancel and the "Rayman 2" cutscene were only added in the final releases, so it wouldn't work in the older versions.
