I took a lot of time because I always try to be a completionist when I play a game, I always try to make al the secondary quests and then the main ones, also when the game was released I had to work on a school exam so I hadn't much time to play
I'm playing Hi-Fi Rush and the Division 2 at the moment. Hi-Fi Rush is such a good game, haven't had so much fun in a game for a long time. But I'll have to hurry to finish it before Starfield releases.
Bongo Hills is infamous for being a massive and pretty tough level. Even Redemption went as far as cutting one of its sections to move it somewhere, and even then it's still one of the biggest levels in the game's first half!

May I ask, which level is longest of them all in R1?

Definitely Bongo Hills I think. Oh but if you’re struggling there, I’d be really worried when you reach Space Mama’s crater.
Yeah, Space Mama's Crater and Eat at Joe's are both big and the toughest by far. Space Mama in particular being the most infamous part of the Rayman series when it comes to the difficulty, and the large-mouthed fishes from the other level are a pain too (at least you can kill them when you figure out the right timing to punch).

It's clear the lack of playtesting creates quite a dissonance between the mood of the level and the deadly inferno it truly is.

NOoooooooooooooooooooooOOoooooooooOOoOoOooOo!!!!!
I remembering talking with Steo about this once, but I believe he mentioned the knockback being stronger in the PS1 version (I think that's what it was, I might be wrong) which makes this particular phase of Eat at Joe's much more annoying.

Yeah this is true lol. They also put absolutely ridiculously unfair knockback on Mr. Skops.
The Rayman DSi had it worse when it comes to the knockback, which made Eat at Joe's even worse somehow! So, either they tried to balance the fact they gave you 6 to 10 life points in that version... or it's just some stinky poopoo programming like so many Rayman ports are so famous for.
