Oh that’s a surprise! I thought you would get it! I think the only time I can think of where you could’ve slipped was when you went to work on your signature (which is still amazing)SilverLum wrote: Sun Aug 27, 2023 12:47 pm Oh dear, I didn’t get the all-nighter bonus… I wonder what I did wrongI could have sworn I posted every 30 minutes. Are you still going to mark her as an all-nighter?The Jonster wrote: Sun Aug 27, 2023 4:08 pmOh that’s a surprise! I thought you would get it! Like I said just one post above, very soon!
So, I just looked into this, and I found four occurrences where your closest posts were more than half an hour apart:SilverLum wrote: Sun Aug 27, 2023 12:47 pm Oh dear, I didn’t get the all-nighter bonus… I wonder what I did wrongI could have sworn I posted every 30 minutes. Wow, getting the all-nighter is strict!
Perhaps we should create a variation of that bonus... like the "half-nighter" or something.

Yeah, SilverLum definitely deserves that credit, at least a little bonus.
Also, I'd like to say congrats to lyndo, he was online most of the time. And of course, to all the newbies who joined recently

Re: Eighteenth edition of the posts in a day record
Yes, don't worry, we'll handle that accordingly
Re: Eighteenth edition of the posts in a day record
5,000 in 24 hours is a post on average every 17 seconds. That's insane. 22,000 would be like every 3-4 seconds. I don't think that's doable without automation.
Re: Eighteenth edition of the posts in a day record
Yeah I have no idea why I had that figure in my head, but a post every 17 seconds on average over a duration of 24 hours is pretty insane yeah.dr_st wrote: Sun Aug 27, 2023 7:49 pm 5,000 in 24 hours is a post on average every 17 seconds. Just curious for this, what’s the most posts in a day ever gotten?

Re: Eighteenth edition of the posts in a day record
Serza. Though I would say aside from greater activity that year, perhaps bots may have also been involved? And I'd say that was during a time where rules regarding spamming, one-worded replies/short posts and what not were probably not as enforced as it was starting in 2019.

Since we're on that topic, I'm curious to learn who had the highest posts per day was?Hunchman801 wrote: Sun Aug 27, 2023 7:56 pmI'm pretty sure it's the aforementioned 5,000.Greengoop wrote: Sun Aug 27, 2023 7:53 pm Just curious for this, what’s the most posts in a day ever gotten?
Re: Eighteenth edition of the posts in a day record
It''s amazing that despite how inactive I had been compared to when I first came here, I still have 16 ppd overall.

Re: Eighteenth edition of the posts in a day record
I was checking the description for RD and I was wondering, how many bonus Tings are given for pulling an all-nighter? (or are bonus Tings given at all?).

Oh my goodness, I completely misunderstood the qualifications for the all-nighter rank.Hunchman801 wrote: Sun Aug 27, 2023 4:32 pmLike I said just one post above, very soon!Basically tonight or tomorrow at the latest.

It is nonetheless a very impressive performance, and I'm sure we can offer a special bonus for that too.

I do appreciate the small bonus though, that’s so kind of you Hunch. It’s such a shame that I lost it from the misunderstanding, but I am grateful that you would consider giving me something regardless.

Re: Eighteenth edition of the posts in a day record
The rewards have been sent! Enjoy the well-deserved Tings everyone.

Yes, we should definitely clarify this for next time! As for this one, we gave you a special bonus of 1,000 Tings (an actual all-nighter being 1,500).SilverLum wrote: Sun Aug 27, 2023 10:10 pm Would it be possible to write down what is required for this bonus in the future so that future users might understand it better and no one misses out again?
