Are you sure that’s Uglette? They probably were initially the same colour but then the “mosquito incident” happened

Yes, I've come to the conclusion that it's a misunderstanding on the part of the English translators, which was then propagated to most anglophone players, and from there to Wikipedia, and then through a process of citogenesis it ended up in the book! It's not the only piece of content that was mistakenly included: on the page about Rayman Designer, there's a screenshot from one of my YouTube videos that shows a really hacked version of the game!

That's right, Mike did a great job with L'Histoire de Rayman but it still contains a few mistakes there and there, like this "Glute" name he got from Wikipedia (it's still there, interestingly enough), the screenshot of PluM's hacked game, the number of planned episodes for the (thankfully) cancelled animated series, the superimposition of Cielle with artwork from Phoenix's Rayman 4 (most likely), etc.

That's the thing, it doesn't have a name. Thats why the wiki just calls it "Globox's species".
