(Prefacing to say this isn't intended to be general discussion on the show, this is to posit and determine how/if it should be covered in the Wiki. So be constructive and on topic please)
So with the release of the show, I know it's spin-off material but we have covered items in the periphery of the series (Rabbids own games being of note). So does that make covering the show in the wiki valid? Should we primarily focus on the Rayman side of things only? And if we do cover it, would it be appropriate to display disclaimers given that the content being covered would be rated 18+ which is obviously in contrast to the rest of the series.
I appreciate I'm presuming a little here, but I suspect this is something that is going to need genuine consideration so I've given some opening thoughts.

Re: Captain Laserhawk Coverage in the Wiki
I've only watched the first three episodes so far, but, from what I can see, Rayman's role in the series appears to be more than just a random cameo. Therefore, coverage is inevitable, at least in the form of a single article focused on Rayman himself. And in fact, a stub was already created today.
Now, as to whether we should cover the show in more depth, that is, with articles for characters, episodes and other things, that's another question. I suppose this will depend on the importance of Rayman's role too, but we should also keep in mind that, like you said, incorporating 18+ content into a wiki for a kids-friendly series might be tricky. And while the problem can probably be avoided with minimal, Rayman-centered coverage, this seems inevitable with full coverage of the series.
I guess I'll have to watch the rest, and in the meantime, let's see what people think!

Re: Captain Laserhawk Coverage in the Wiki
I agree that it isn't a simple and banal cameo, he has some relevance in the story and it should obviously be mentioned somewhere. Covering the entire series is a big doubt, as we don't know what's going to happen in the next season... . So, at the very first I'd do a general coverage from the series, introducing the characters and the plot, and focus on Rayman's POV in the different episodes. I wouldn't create specific articles for the characters and the episodes as we don't know how long the series will last. .
Edit: I've been thinking about the +18 stuff... Obviously, if you want to keep the Wiki as a family-friendly webpage, it's simply impossible to make some coverage even if you only focus on Rayman's POV. If we want to do it, we should definitely include some kind of warning because of the +18 content (locking the article for minors, a warning at the very first...).

Re: Captain Laserhawk Coverage in the Wiki
I finished watching the series yesterday and indeed, Rayman's role becomes even more prominent near the end. I think it's fair to consider him one of the main characters.
Last night, I created a new section for the series in the main Rayman article, which is essentially a version of the plot centered on the character. There's still a lot of work to do on the main article, though.

Re: Captain Laserhawk Coverage in the Wiki
Rayman is a alcoholic and a druggie in this show which is actually pretty funny tbh cause I wasn’t expecting it, I’m hoping that Rayman does not die next season cause that would be deeply upsetting
Re: Captain Laserhawk Coverage in the Wiki
When I created article for Captain Laserhawk, one of the reasons I didnt go much farther than a stub was because of many of these questions. I've thought about it for the last few days.
Firstly, usually the way Netflix's animation works is that they commission an order of episodes that they then split up into two "seasons." They do this so that they can get 2 content drops without dealing with the pay raises that would come with commissioning a real second season of animated television. We have no evidence they did this with Laserhawk until they announce a second "season," but it's so common with them and the first season is so short that I would absolutely assume another 6 episodes are coming. So any decision you make should keep this in mind.
I think the second question to grapple with would be how much coverage of the series is within the scope of the wiki. If the show truly pops off there would be an audience for an encompassing wiki, and Rayman-PC would actually be in a good spot to provide a space for that as opposed to yet another garbage Fandom.Com wiki. Even then, it doesnt mean the RayWiki is a good place to contain it compared to a sister wiki, or perhaps namespaces- The Unofficial Elder Scrolls Pages for example uses namespaces to separate the content for each Elder Scrolls game. Luckily, I don't think you have to make this decision yet. People seem to really like the show but it's still too nascent for an obsessive following to form around it.
So for now, what should the wiki cover? Assuming you want a middle ground between minimal coverage and dedicated coverage, here is what I propose:
- This interpretation of Rayman is iconic and a distinct identity from the games. You should consider giving him his own article, "Ramon" or "Rayman (Captain Laserhawk)". The section in the main Rayman article can be a brief summary with a link to the main article. This would help keep 18+ content out of the main Rayman article.
- On Wikipedia, Important Series will have separate articles for each season, and these articles will contain reasonably detailed episode guides. An example is Season 1 of Better Call Saul. I think that this format could be copied for the season 1 content in the main article, and then split out like this if/when the series has released a second season. So instead of having articles for each episode, you could have articles for each season and still have detailed synopses.
- Now, for the characters, you could dedicate an entire article to listing them. For example, Wikipedia's list of Dragon Ball characters. You can see it's comprehensive and detailed, and major characters that warrant extra coverage have articles linked. If you decide you want the wiki to have a deeper coverage of the show, these could be easily split out as stubs.
- Lastly, the creative side. Adi Shankar, as the creator and one of the lead writers, should probably have an article. Balak, the creative director, may be warranted as well. Bobbypills, the studio, should probably have one; however, most of their output is "adults only" featuring overt sexual content, so writing an article for them will be interesting. David Menken, Rayman's voice actor, should absolutely have one. It might be worth doing a deep dive into the rest of the creative team- for example, all 6 episodes of season 1 were directed by Mehdi Leffad who has no Wikipedia article, but could perhaps be worth covering in a more niche context.
Take all this with a grain of salt, I just thought I'd thor my two cents in. Hope you all have a great day.

Re: Captain Laserhawk Coverage in the Wiki
Rayman is a protagonist of Rayman in the Phantom Show, which got full coverage on the wiki.
Rayman is also a protagonist of Captain Laserhawk, so I assume it deserves full coverage too?
