I don't even have the console with my Twilight Princess save anymore so I'd have to start from scratch regardless.

So links awakening, oracle of something and minish cap?
Close, it's actually Link's Awakening and the 2 oracle games. Minish Cap is a GBA game iirc.

You’re very dedicated playing both of those nightmarish games
So.. it's official, a The Legend of Zelda movie is in the works.
I hoped for it to be an animated, but it's confirmed that it'll be a live action movie.
I am not sure what to think about this, I can only hope it'll be good..
Yay for Zelda movie! I would’ve much preferred it to be animated, because it’s the second live action Zelda thing, if we don’t count the infamous “zelda’s adventure”

Nintendo is probably riding off this after the success of the Mario movie. I do hope it will be good though!
Everyone was feeling the same when Nintendo announced that the Mario movie was being made in collaboration with Illumination and revealed the voice actors for the characters and the movie ended up being better than anyone was expecting.
I can only hope the same will happen with the Zelda movie.
Zelda is my favourite Nintendo IP, so the movie should not be as good as the Mario one but better!
Today I met the Deku Tree!
This wooden sculpt was commissioned by Nintendo itself to celebrate the release of The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom in my country

Wow! That looks great! Did you get any deku seeds from it? You know, for like, protection.
I'd like to see another main console Ocarina of Time/Majora's Mask/Twilight Princess styled Zelda game. Not necessarily in terms of linearity, but definitely in terms of the artstyle and vision. I feel like we've seen enough cell-shading for now and with around ~20 years waiting time I think realistic graphics have improved a lot.
I personally don’t get the hype around Ocarina of Time, but I think twilight princess definitely deserves a new game like it. Also, as much as I loved the Link’s awakening port, I think they should’ve considered reviving a game that people would’ve absolutely partied in happiness for, instead of a hardly remembered Gameboy title

Sadly no, after I took the picture someone sat on him

Also, has anyone played echoes of wisdom? I think it looks like a pretty decent game IMO. I’d prefer to see some remakes of other games though
I am playing it and I love it! Just yesterday I have beaten the first boss so maybe it's too soon I make a review of it but I am enjoying it
Also, I’ve been playing tunic a lot lately, and I find it’s origami(?) artstyle very similar to the one in the link’s awakening reboot (and echoes of wisdom) and I think that could just be me, or if anyone else thinks the same?

Oh Link's Awakening is surprisingly good, I think it holds its own pretty well. I don't think any of the handheld titles really need a remaster tbh, especially after that remake. To be honest though, I've always liked to just play the originals as remakes rarely live up to them. I also find it enjoyable to play the game as it was meant to be played. I agree that Ocarina of Time kind of fell off, I think it's similar to the Seinfeld effect as it became less "special" over the years as other games have tried to copy it or elements of it. Majora's Mask hasn't really experienced the same effect because of how unique it is.
Majora’s mask is very good, and I think it should have a switch remaster. I’ve also been waiting for a wind water (criminally underrated) remaster as well
1. I don’t have a Wii u, and practically nobody does
2. The 3D version would look like big rigs: over the road racing compared to one on better technology, especially if it was made on a future Nintendo console
Truth be told, what with the 3DS being retired for what...4 yearsish at this point? And the Wii U being pretty much dead by the time the Switch came out. It would be nice to have one console to play all the games, especially as the passage of time means the Wii U and 3DS become less of an option.
Ninty's drip-feeding of older games when it comes to the Switch classics (moreso charging an extra premium for certain consoles...GBA and N64) isn't exactly making the games the most accessible either. I suppose technically speaking at this point OoT and MM are accounted for thanks to NSO, but WW and TP remain on the Wii U. We've seen Skyward Sword get a HD remaster (that I really need to go back to and finish, come to think of it, though i'll probably start from scratch cause it's been too long), it'd be nice for the sake of completeness to get the others. So on this I agree with Greengoop, though I'm not clamouring for an all-out remake, that'd be a nice to have, at least have the games in some form on Switch at this point, consolidate.
As for the games in question, I did finally play through some of the classic 3D Zeldas, beat OoT and had a decent time, but MM hasn't clicked with me, and I've been contemplating skipping to Windwaker.
