That's usually what < has ran into, the times < is interested in does make it easier. Though soaking in information still is rather difficult. Plus a bit of laziness and procrastination doesn't help matters any. :oops2:

Weirdly, when < tries to study, it sometimes feels like a wall of info that never ends. It becomes scattered and hard to keep track or everything, and it seems overwhelming to <. Weirdly then, < manages to later discover that < managed to retain some info, even though it didn't feel like < took any in, but at the same time, < manages to easily overlook certain things, especially when it comes to trick questions on exams that are made to catch you out (failing to properly proofread). This kind of makes < stressed when it comes to taking exams, as < also really doesn't want to fail (though weirdly < didn't care about failing a test in school, even though < now does with adult education).

< Does generally have issues with dealing with a huge wall of text. Especially when people don't do paragraph spacing where there's a bit of a break. < has one friend who does it a lot.

But yeah, < generally has to take breaks, and take it easy on reading.

As far as the schooling thing, < knows that as adults, we have grown more responsible than we have when we were all kids. Such is a the way of life. :oops2:

< can relate with struggling when it comes to word walls, and < normally likes to separate things into paragraphs also, but < can be guilty of putting too much together when typing on mobile, as it's hard to tell how much you typed on a tall and narrow screen.

< definitely thinks this too when it comes to adult school being different, but there's also the fact that you're choosing what education you want based on your interests as an adult, vs the mandatory schooling you get as a kid, where it makes you not want to go. :oops2:

< remembers this too, and the rants used to be pretty funny lol. It's gotten to the point where < is considering a new phone though (< has had <'s for over 4 years at this point). < will have to settle for one with the punch hole front camera, but < still feels it would be less annoying than a notch.

The phone < is looking at has the camera hole in the corner instead of the center too, so maybe it won't be so bad. <'s phone does still work, but < is relying on custom ROM's at this point and <'s battery isn't quite what it used to be. A replacement battery is an option, but < could also do that and gift it onto someone else as it's still a somewhat decent phone in terms of specs.

< knows Sony's Xperia phones actually don't have a notch or a camera hole in the screen. < is considering those. Especially with them still retaining the 3.5mm headphone jack and such.

< Knows some phones make it rather difficult to have custom ROMs on. < certainly doesn't want Samsung phones, < really has grown to dislike their phones so much more. Just from experience with the ones <'s dad has.

< thinks it's a shame that things such as a 3.5mm jack and a microSD card slot are inevitably disappearing from phones. < never wanted to have to get rid of the option for those things, but at this point it seems most phones are dropping them.

< used to have Xperia phones from around 2013 up until 2017, and has had Samsung phones since then. < has never really had too much of an issue with them, though it almost feels like paying premium price for something just because of a name, while other brands do the same thing (or at least similar) for less.

Weirdly, < remembers disliking AMOLED in the early days, due to how weird they used to look, though ever since around 2017 it seems that all changed. Nowadays most phones have AMOLED, and of course < has grown to like them a lot (due to the contrast / black levels). The only issue < ever had with using AMOLED (at least on the Samsung phones that < had), is the fact that the blue sub-pixels seem to be slower, and you see a blue trail behind dark grey colours on black while scrolling due to it.

< certainly thinks it's rather stupid for them to no longer include the 3.5mm jack and microSD card slot. These are the most basic things that many still value a lot of and help with the usability of the phones overall. Things just feel so anti-consumer these days it's not even funny.

One of the things < hates about the Samsung phones is the camera holes, and the stupid UI. < is still rather picky about that sort of thing. Plus for whatever reason some of theirs seem more fragile than they need to be.

Tbh, while < used to vehemently oppose Samsungs, in recent years < hasn't minded them as much. < Agrees with ^^^ that their UI is a bit shit, but < has to give them credit for their improved OS support.

Tho tbf it seems like a lot of Android manufacturers are starting to offer better OS support these days, < appreciates it as < has to admit Apple always was better in providing long-term support for their products (battery wankery notwithstanding in fairness)

< Also shares ^'s appraisal of OLED displays...they truly are a wonder for the eyes ^_^

< loves OLED displays also, to the point < is picky to even use other types anymore (aside from monitors). < can't help but pay attention to the inferior black levels on any other display. :P

< hasn't minded Samsung as much lately either, though < used to hate them years ago. < feels like they tend to copy Apple a lot though when it comes to their phones, but then again, who doesn't at this point.

< has looked at brands such as Oppo and OnePlus, though they still have the punch hole, < might be able to live with that. The only thing is as Hoodcom mentioned, it becomes a bit of a pain that they want to remove things such as an SD card slot and a 3.5mm jack.

< has seen Sony mentioned above. < actually hasn't looked into the Sony lineup in years, though < used to love them. < mainly switched away because at the time < liked the AMOLED screen, but Sony only had IPS back then. Still better than those TFT ones they used to have in the Xperia Z and Z1 lol.

< had double check <'s eyesight and re-read this post when < saw ^'s name.

< was pleasantly surprised to see ^ posting here, it's been awhile since < spoke to ^ directly on the forums. Discord is another story, obviously.

That is the one thing < can agree on though, Apple may do a lot of stupid BS with things, but they do provide a nice long-term support for their products. Companies always want to copy Apple's flaws, not their qualities.

< Also agrees with the praise of OLED, < prefers them and has <'s LG OLED HDTV still and the Alienware ultrawide OLED on this computer too.

< Will say that < is glad to have met and been friends with the dude for at least 10 years now. Maybe one of these days < and him can meet in person like < has a few other friends < has.
