it’s in the past now and I’d rather not think of it lest it piss me off again. Hope you understand.

Glad to hear this, were you able to make up with your friend? :D

+ I'm in a good mood today as well, and I'm not tired!
- I didn't get anything done today though
+ Maybe after my walk I'll feel like doing something.
+/- So it turns out, I didn't have until the end of the month to finish Advent of Cyber 2022, since the countdown for the new one has already replaced it. But after doing some quick searching on the site, turns out it's still there. Along with previous ones. I should try them before the new one come out.
+ I really need to start making lists on what I need to tackle first for each aspect of my day: one for workouts, gaming, and school/career work. Maybe then I won't be so scatterbrained and jump from one thing to another and then just default to gaming. :oops2:

+ I'm looking forward to lunch soon, especially after a topic I posted in earlier made me feel hungrier.
+ Thanksgiving is coming up in a couple of days for those of us in the US. I'm looking forward to that, my brother and his family will be coming over.
+ Tomorrow is a friend's birthday, I need to remember to wish him a good happy birthday. He's unfortunately out of town right now, but I'll get his gift shipped out to him tomorrow since he should be back by Friday.

- I'm a bit tired today, I didn't get as much sleep as I would have liked.
- While the custom UV Print on the new laptop is nice, it appears to be a little fragile. :( I thought UV prints were supposed to be more robust and durable anyway, unless part of the surface it wasn't able to adhere super well with.

+ I'll be getting a new phone soon. My old one still works but it's over 4 years old and stopped officially receiving updates years ago.

- I will have to wait for it to get here once I order it. :P

+ Generally been in a good mood.

+ Getting some more annotations done, I'm hoping to get all of them done by the end of this month at least.

+/- I'm wondering if I should make something for Thanksgiving this year.....but I'm feeling lazy and last year when I made something that was purely my own (butternut squash soup), my family thought it was ok, but I wanted it to be sweeter. Maybe I should just do the mashed potatoes Dad usually makes this time.
- Heard family friend is going to be having a dinner get-together at their house. But I can't go, Mom is working, Dad's not going, and my sister's in Japan, and if i went there Dad would be by himself, so I'm going to stay home with him. Kind of sad, since I heard some of my cousins from out of town are possibly going to be there too.

+ I hope everybody had a great Thanksgiving, once again! I'm sure ^ had a great day yesterday too!
- One pair of glasses I had broke yesterday. Thank goodness I have 2 more pairs (even if one of them is a bit lopsided).
+ My sister is coming home tomorrow. Whoooooo she got me a gift! :D
+ Despite my bedtime still being a bit unstable, I've been getting up consistently at 7AM lately. Glad that my body clock seems to be adjusting well.

- I've been quite stressed lately. This is making me sleep a lot less (these last weeks I sleep like 5h a day) and makes me more exhausted.
- I don't know if it's a consequence of not sleeping well and stress, but I have experienced sleep paralysis for the first time. It lasted around 10-15 seconds and it was a very strange sensation, as I couldn't move even though I was awake.
+ It's finally the weekend.

I don't think I've ever had sleep paralysis myself, unless you could count me struggling to wake up at rare times. Like I'll want to get up but my eyes and body don't want to get up. Which is weird because a few years back my doctor told me I had sleep apnea, and when I told my family they mentioned that I snore (which I did know) and that I sometimes stop breathing in my sleep sometimes, which I was completely unaware of.

I am glad you were alright though Dave. Hopefully this weekend gives you some to wind down. :)

+ My sister comes back from Japan tomorrow! She got me a Luigi cap. :D

I've had sleep paralysis a lot, though not too much lately. In the past I've literally had it to the point I'd be uncomfortable and want to move, and I'd have to try shake my head a lot to try wake myself up so I could move. For some reason my head was always the only part I could move, and it was always extremely uncomfortable when it happened. It would make me uneasy with trying to go back to sleep then in case it happened again.

Just curious about this... Did you experience some "paranormal activity" related to the sleep paralysis? Kinda weird to hear about people being minutes watching "ghosts" :fou:

- I was incredibly tired and I spent most of the time sleeping or at bed.
- I'm not really proud of this, but I've slept 22 hours in 2 days. That means I didn't really have many things to do, but not gonna lie, I felt really useless. Hopefully next week will be better.

I don't know if it fully relates, but I have experienced thinking objects in my room were people or something else, then realised moments later that I was being ridiculous and it was only a chair. One time, I literally thought someone was standing there pointing a gun at me. :oops2:

- I still haven't done my rank up battles in Splatoon 3, and the season ends really soon.

+ The new season is looking pretty nice, they're even bringing back a revamped version of Splashdown from Splatoon 2. So this'll be interesting. I'm definitely looking forward to the new Splatana Stamper as well.

Yikes, that honestly sounds a bit terrifying. Have you ever had that checked up on by any doctors to see if there's a way to keep that from happening?

I haven't, but I have noticed that when it used to happen, I was both drinking a lot more often, and staying up really late / having a bad sleep pattern. It hasn't really been happening lately thankfully, but when it was happening, it was pretty bad. I believe I'd have anxiety attacks too around the same time period, such as having a pain somewhere or feeling weird, then worrying about it. I do feel like there are factors that come into play for both these things though, and lately neither have really been happening. I'm glad, because anxiety attacks aren't very nice. :oops2:

+ I got my new phone and the Pi 5 last night.
+ I'm looking forward to setting up the Pi

Ah yeah, I'm sure the staying up really late plus any excessive drinking didn't help with that, but I'm glad you're doing a lot better man. You definitely gotta take care of your health. Especially while you're still young. The older you will appreciate it more.

Also...

- I want more cheese cake now since our discussion took place here regarding my friend who recently joined these forums. The dude makes good cheese cakes and I am unable to have anymore anytime soon. :tssk:

+ Technically with the recipe and stuff, I could see about making one, since he did provide that.

Yeah as I'm aging, I'm starting to realise this more and more. Even little things like hurting my back stack up a lot in the long run, so it's getting to the point where I'm at that age where I need to take keeping healthy and active seriously. Even if I will be working in the likes of programming, it still doesn't mean I can't be relatively active and keep fit. It starts to become clear by the time you hit your 30s that you're no longer a kid and you really can't just get away with doing X and Y anymore.
