Getting colder now. It would help if you guys knew how many Tings you have to collect in that Magician's challenge in the first place!

Well, this question can be reduced trivially to the one you asked, since I believe the price that needs to be paid to play the challenge is always fixed. ;)

Yes, the price is fixed and as far as I know the highest amount of Tings to collect in any of the Magician's challenges is 17. So it was really confusing for me to see answers at 10 and above. (hint, hint)

I'll move on in 8 hours if no one guesses the answer, but until then everyone is free to make a new guess, except for dr_st.

Just in case no one guesses, and you change the question - do let me know whether I need to skip that one as well. ;) I think the rules were never clear enough on whether an unanswered question resets the 'no more than 2 correct answers in a row' rule.

Unfortunately no, but since no one’s given the correct answer, time to move on. Since it’s been one question, dr_st can answer again.

That would be Green Lums.

Which is why a certain member's fanfiction talked about them as being "a mistake"…

The Sanctuary of Stone and Fire, The Echoing Caves (throw at Ape's head), The part of the Fairy Glade accessible from the Echoing Caves, and The Iron Mountains.

Can't think of any others at the moment...

Question 19: Rarely, in some cases in Rayman 1, you'll find places where the screen scrolls and Rayman will have to run from an invisble force that can kill him instantly. Tell me what levels do they occur, and in which phases of those levels.

You said "invisible force", so I suppose the floods and boss chases don't count. That leaves Gong Heights phase 2 and the Hard Rocks phase 2. I can't remember any others right now.

The level is completely absent in Rayman 2 Forever and in PSX it's partially absent as it's mixed with the Whale Bay (you fight against Axel in the very end). In Rayman Revolution it's the same level with another name (the Lost Island), so I wouldn't say it's absent.
