So uh yeah, I prefer winter! :oops2:
I don't think I could stand that much heat. Over here, we get weather as hot as 35°C on a really hot day, but also as low as -20°C on a really cold day. Right now, it's -8°C. I find the hot summer days almost unbearable lol.

Hmmmm, do you live in Arizona or somewhere similar? Just curious, forgive me if asking that is a little too personal.

I think The Jonster is either just that good, lives there, or is a mind reader.

Our weather is gonna warm back up slightly here, but it'll probably cool back off next week. We're supposed to be getting some rain later this week with our highs around 50°F. So that's not too bad.

It must be cool to experience that snowy weather for a few days, but not gonna lie, I'd really hate to see that every single day on winter. I'm happy with our weather here

Right now it's 17ºC at almost 22:00. It should be colder in a few days...

Exactly. Even in Ireland, if it did snow, we'd be happy about it and it would melt after a few days. In Sweden, they have snow plows out early hours of the morning and the country keeps going as usual. You can have snow for weeks at a time and it's far too cold for it to melt. They have winter tyres on cars here too, they basically are well prepared for these harsh winters. It's interesting to me though ofc. :P

A few days of snow is good. Here it almost always only lasts that one night most of the time, if it rarely occurs, and then just melts away in the morning.

Yeah that's not happening here for example lol. The temperature for the foreseeable future will be below freezing, so therefore it can't logically melt according to the laws of thermodynamics.

Because we're insulated by the water on one side and mountains on the other, our climate is pretty stable, with an average Winter day being maybe like -3C and an average Summer day being like 20C, and it only varies like 5-10 degrees from day to night. It's pretty nice... though global warming has caused some insanity, like it rocketing to 38C for a week in Summer... I think the hottest I've ever seen before was 31, maybe 32... it felt like we went from alpine to tropical, it was so crazy. Winters have become harsher too, and last year our city kinda malfunctioned and all the roads became undrivable, leaving me stranded in my vehicle for almost 24 hours watching car after car slide into each other until I couldn't even see where the pileup began. That better not happen again this year :v

Whellll, longer clothes don't bother me if it's actually cold. That being said, in March I'd regularly go for early-morning walks in 3C in shorts and no sleeves lol

Heh, well the important part is you do dress comfortably. :) (To be honest, I've always had been more self-conscious of myself or something, but even when I was a kid I was always afraid to wear shorts. It's not they don't feel more comfortable, but I don't know how to explain it. :oops2:)

So I take it that storms aren't very violent for you guys either, huh?

I wish our weather was more stable here in the US, but to simply put, I hate Spring time the most because that's tornado season more or less. I still remember the one night where one tornado traveled to and lifted probably barely a three-quarters of a mile away from our house. The only time mom got her ass out of bed and into shelter was because she thought she heard a tornado. (Like c'mon, a tornado warning generally means we get to shelter before the storm hits or comes close. :| )

Well at the very least you all are ok! Not that I've ever seen one but I know they're definitely hazardous.

Tornados don't happen quite as often down here, even though I know parts of Texas including Houston also have potential risks for tornados at times. Rather I think there's a greater risk for the far more threatening hurricanes/typhoons/tropical cyclones (while they don't have the top speed winds of a tornado, they're larger and generally longer lasting) during the summertime and even during the early days of what is supposedly 'autumn', which is another reason why I've come to not like summer as much. I remember when Ike came it cut the power for a few days, while Harvey's endless rains flooded the entire area and left me and Dad stranded in our house for days, though we had power so it wasn't all bad.
