< echoes what Dave said, at least the lady was able to live peacefully. < gives condolence to Hoodcom as well.

< got the recording on OBS to work the second time around. Turns out, < just needed to change to a higher resolution in the GoG version of Rayman 2. There are other games < wants to try to use OBS for, but maybe on another day.

< got <'s new phone yesterday, along with the Raspberry Pi 5. < has been setting up everything on the phone, but < hasn't gotten a chance yet to tinker with the latter, other than putting the Pi OS on the SD card and making sure it boots. < will most likely experiment with it later today.
Re: The You Game!
Man < envies ^, <’s still stuck with <’s old Pi 2. < wonders how ^’s going to use it?
Re: The You Game!
< has an old Pi 3 back in Ireland too, but < couldn't even find it last time < was there. < plans to use it to practice web development at the moment, such as using it to build and host a site. < will probably just do it locally at first while trying to experiment.
< knows there are many more uses for a Pi, even things like using them as emulators etc. < will likely find more uses for it in future too, < just felt like it was a good investment, especially given <'s interests involve tech. The only reason < got the 5 also, is because < was looking into getting a 4, then it turned out the 5 was releasing this month, so it made sense.

< wonders if there would be any benefits for the 3DS capture card on a Pi 5 over the Pi 4 < has. < knows there was definitely some benefits over the Pi 3, but it might be something < will have to look at sometime.
Re: The You Game!
< isn't even sure yet as to what benefits the 5 even has over the 4. < just seen claims that it's "faster" and decided it just made more sense to get the new one with the difference in price being so miniscule. < hasn't done a lot with it yet, other than set up basic things, put MariaDB on it, and locally load the index.html from /var/www/html just to make sure it worked. < will try experiment with it in time and ofc it will be useful to practice the likes of web development with it among other things.Hoodcom wrote: Tue Nov 28, 2023 3:50 pm < wonders if there would be any benefits for the 3DS capture card on a Pi 5 over the Pi 4 < has. < knows there was definitely some benefits over the Pi 3, but it might be something < will have to look at sometime.

Re: The You Game!
< Once had wanted to use the Raspberry Pi's for an IP camera monitor, but < had to resort to using a NVIDIA Shield since they were more powerful to be able to display more than one camera on the screen at once. Some people supposedly did it but it never worked for <. Probably due to the resolution requirements.
< Might be a bit curious to see how the Raspberry Pi 5 fairs for things like that at some point.
< is certainly interested in ^'s progress with ^'s new journey though.

< also isn't exactly a fan of needles. They're not scary per say, but they're not exactly pleasant. < has had to get blood tests every so often, with the most recent one being about 3 months back. The results were normal though thankfully. < found a couple of the COVID jabs to leave <'s arm feeling sore though, and even had flu like symptoms for a day or two after some of them.

< also agrees with ^ that it's normal to feel sore or even tired.

Yes <'s cat appears to have walked all over the keyboard.
(^ knows why < really did that
< has made it a habit to always drink water before going to get blood drawn these days. To prevent the pain of having to be stuck more than once.

< didn't start drinking water until a nurse brought it up to < one day when < had been getting <'s blood drawn and she was having difficulty probing my veins for blood. < thinks < had to sit in the waiting room drinking several cups of water before we tried again.

< Also remembers this as well, for those yearly blood tests < has to do for the health insurance. Instead of them jabbing you in the arm, they draw it from your finger.
