Re: This or That?
Regular bacon, its one of my favorite breakfast foods. I usually chop it up and put it inside scrambled eggs and it tastes amazing! I never had turkey bacon as well so I might try that.
Would you rather have really short arms or really short legs?
Would you rather have really short arms or really short legs?
Re: This or That?
This one is a bit interesting. I guess I would prefer to have short legs, as I feel people tend to use their hands for nearly everything they do. That way, even with short legs, nothing stops you from doing the same things anyone else would while you're just sitting in a chair or have a desk at the correct height. I guess there are still disadvantages, but I feel those outweigh on arms vs legs still.

The current day, technology has made life so much easier, which I like. You can search up the answer to anything, find a recipe for a meal you like, its just extremely convenient.

Linux, because it gives me choice - I can customize everything and I can stay old school if I want to. And seeing the community working on the software together is nice to see.

Re: This or That?
I also love Linux, and I use it as my daily driver. I even feel a bit annoyed when I have to switch over to Windows to do something that isn't available for Linux, such as taking an online exam etc.
As for this question, I think I would choose pizza. I simply just enjoy it more even though eating too much cheese can have negative affects on my stomach. It seems fun to order pizza for example, then just sit and watch something on TV while eating it.

Re: This or That?
Yeah, Linux is really nice about giving you that freedom for certain.
I'm going with desktop, since I like building my own computers and generally you can get a more powerful system for the money that way and more easily upgrade things in the future. It just has better longevity overall.
Do you prefer mouse and keyboard, game controller, or pick one based on a specific type of game instead?

Re: This or That?
I've never used Linux, but I've always been curious about it. I think that Linux is overall better than Windows, but in my case, using Linux is like being given a Ferrari but driving it like a Renault Megane
. Also, there are a couple of programs I use practically every day at work that simply aren't compatible with Linux, so I definitely stick with Windows.
As for the question, I prefer the controller if I have the option to choose, although obviously, there have been games where I had to use the mouse and keyboard because I didn't have another option. It seems much more comfortable and practical for me. I've mentioned it more than once, but playing Rayman 2 with the controller made the game extremely easy for me; instead, I've never feel comfortable at all using the keyboard. And like that example, I can mention quite a few more. I also suppose having a laptop doesn't help with playing with a keyboard
.
PlayStation 2/XBox or PlayStation 3/XBox 360?

Re: This or That?
Yeah that's completely fair! Personally it depends on the game for me. Some games I'll use mouse and keyboard on, some I prefer the controller on. Ratchet and Clank for example I'll use the controller for. Games like Skyrim will be mouse and keyboard. Plus yeah I don't imagine the laptop helps with that aspect, unless you go external keyboard and mouse of course.
Also that is a rather tough one, and I will be basing this off the Playstation side of things due to me being actually experiencing those. I never really had the Xbox to really make much use of.
I have a lot of favorite games across the PS2 and PS3 overall, and my love for the Ratchet and Clank series primarily came from owning the PS3, since I wasn't quite aware of the series until then. I also was introduced to the Tales of series on the PS3, such as Tales of Graces and I enjoyed the games of the series.
So I think I will actually lean to Playstation 3 for this one, despite having a huge PS2 collection on hand at this point in time. I still highly regard the PS2 as they have so many great games. I just feel the latter gave me some nice new experiences I enjoyed sooner before I got to really enjoy the PS2 at a later time.
I'll throw this question out there, classic Windows UI, such as Windows 9x / Windows 2000, Windows XP UI, Windows Vista/7 UI, or modern Windows UI? Which do you actually prefer the looks of?

Re: This or That?
I also love the Ratchet & Clank games on PS3! I can vouch that I practically know them by heart from the number of times I've completed them (using the TAUN made it even easier, of course
). I share a similar thought to yours, and for me, choosing between PS2 and PS3 is a really tough decision. I'll probably lean towards one or the other depending on the day
Regarding the Windows user interface... I think I'm going to lean towards the classic interface, especially the one from Windows XP and Windows 7. The Frutiger Aero style of Windows 7 was really cool. It might sound random, but that style gave the feeling that you were using something super futuristic
In the case of getting together with your friends... Do you prefer going to a party, or staying at someone's house playing (Monopoly, cards, console...)?

Re: This or That?
That's awesome man! I'm glad we both enjoy the series that well, and yeah, I can't recall how many times I've replayed the games on the PS3.
I get the feeling, and honestly I'd still would love to have the Aero theme on my computers today if I could... I mean I can with Windows Blinds I guess.
This one's easy for me, staying at someone's house playing Monopoly, cards, game consoles, etc. I just am not a party type of person. I like my small friendship circles and I just don't want to be in a big crowd at all.
Would you rather play Monopoly or a game of Uno?

Monopoly by a landslide, I love that game! Its only problem is that it can go on for way too long, but its still better than Uno, which Is still fun.

Re: This or That?
You know, that's honestly a good question, it does depend on what I'm in the mood for. With friends I typically would prefer the board games, but if I'm soloing it, computer card games are fun. I've always been a little fond of the Hoyle Card Games game on the PC ever since we had our Windows 2000 machine in the early 2000s.
So I think because of my fondness there, the card games has this pick.

Re: This or That?
incandescent lights have a nicer glow and the LED ones hurt my eyes to look at a bit, so incandescent wins.

Re: This or That?
I'll pick Home Alone, I just feel I have more fondness of this for the humor the first two have and since I've seen them more often than I half Elf. I definitely find them quite amusing overall and they have plenty of re-watch value for me.

Re: This or That?
Oh my God, UNO is brutal. Along with Cheat it's my favorite card game. The pattern in both games, as you can see, is to be a bastard. I love card games like that
I prefer plastic ornaments. Honestly, I don't think I've ever seen glass ornaments, and I understand that it's probably better that they aren't, as they could shatter if they accidentally fall.

Oh gosh, classic carols please!
Last week I helped my MIL put up her tree and ornaments, while I decorated I kinda just had to put on some classic Christmas music, just having the "oldies" classic carols playing in the background while we decorated the tree has been a tradition of mine since childhood.

I have more memories of having the peppermint candy canes more than anything, honestly. They also seem to just be pretty classic for Christmas too.
For the exterior decoration for home or your home, do you prefer traditional way of lighting with lights just all plugged in, or would you go for something with some programmed controller to go all out with effects?

Just plugging in lights is less tedious and cheaper, so I usually go with that.

Re: This or That?
We've always tried to decorate the interior of the house as best as possible. On the outside, we usually don't put much because, well, they tend to take it away
. I still remember when I bought a small snowman ornament and hung it on the front door... Well, the next day it was gone. I don't want to imagine what would happen if we started decorating everything on the outside.
