Pumpkin cakes and pumpkin cookies are surprisingly delicious still. IF you do get a chance I do recommend trying one of them!
I think in the past it's been right away almost, but anymore we just wait until the family is together on Christmas Day. Like around noon or earlier.
Do you take turns opening gifts or do you all just open them all at once?
I never actually had pumpkin cakes, but I'll keep in mind to try them at some point.
Normally at my family's place, we would kind of all open our presents in a somewhat rotating fashion. Sometimes we would kind of open one at a time each going around if that makes sense, and that would continue. I like the idea of this, you get to see everyone's reaction when they realise what they've gotten.
Do you enjoy Christmas because you get to spend time with friends and family, or just because you get gifts.

Yeah, a lot of folks like seeing the reactions of the gifts they give especially! It's especially more joyful to watch the younger kids get what they want too, since they can be easy to please.
I think we are generally all guilty of enjoying it for the gifts at some point, but since I've more been "I don't know what I want" mindset for the past several years? The time with friends and family is more meaningful to me. I do appreciate that, and honestly I think we should all enjoy the time we have with our friends and family. They are just more meaningful that mere objects.
Do you rather spend Christmas with a small family get together or a large get together?

A few big presents, because most of the small presents I get I forget about, but the big presents I usually keep around longer.
Christmas Eve or Christmas day?
Christmas Day, since that's when the fun begins when opening gifts, spending time with the family, and even having a good Christmas meal!
Do you wait until Christmas is over or when New Years begins before taking down the Christmas decorations?

We usually wait until New Year ends, in fact, before we start taking down the Christmas decorations. New Years, with our family friends, also comes up with an End-of-Year party at someone's house!
Do you stay up and welcome the new year or go to bed and welcome it tomorrow?
I still don't understand why anyone would take down decorations before January 7th Of course we always wait way longer
Definitely Easter. I actually really enjoy the Easter ceremonies, with the darkness turning to light, and all the uplifting music! Also, chocolate eggs!

Books as gifts, or toys / electronics?
Now you're just acting like me, who never wants to take down the damn Christmas decorations.
I had lights left up on our front porch for several years before they were finally taken down due to the weathered age of them.
I'm not much of a book reader, so toys / electronics would be my choice as gifts.
Though speaking of books, that raises a good interesting question of choice: Physical Books or E-Books?

I will always choose physical books. Nothing beats the smell of the book, having it in your hands, feeling the crisp paper under your fingers.
Fantasy or sci-fi?
That is an excellent choice, especially since I do prefer physical copies of games, movies, tv series, and music.
Good question, I'll probably lean more towards sci-fi due to the direction some elements of influence taken on my characters. Though for any stories or role plays it can swing that way.
Definitely, I prefer writing my own stories. Role-playing is cool; I have some great memories of that in certain online games, but unquestionably, crafting your own story, even if it's more challenging and frustrating, is incredibly fulfilling. I guess a picture is worth a thousand words, right?
Oh wow, that's awesome! Yeah, some of my content involves my character Reese, who you see in my signature. I like casual roleplays with friends when I can with friends.
The Matrix, primarily because it's the only one of the two I've seen and the most memorable movie overall. I do need to re-watch it sometime, and thanks to you I feel like I should try planning that in the near future.
Of the two shows, what do you prefer? Gravity Falls or Phineas and Ferb?
I love Gladiator, but The Matrix is simply incredible. It's the only movie that blows my mind every time I watch it, it's just amazing. Now, the second and the third start to wander quite a bit, and well... I prefer to stick with the first one.
And between the two you mentioned, I've only seen Phineas and Ferb, so I'm going to stick with that option. I have to admit that Perry's subplots seemed cooler to me. Yes, I'm that weird
I grew up with Nickelodeon so I'm going to go with that. I did like some stuff on the old Cartoon Network too, and I did like both Regular Show and Gumball, but Nickelodeon for me had a lot of memories. Even just the likes of Spongebob and Fairly Odd Parents which I used to watch a lot, but even back to the 90s where I watched the Rugrats etc. There are a lot of shows I used to love back then on that channel.
From the Spongebob characters, would your own personality closer reflect Spongebob or Squidward?

Probably Garry. Garry doesn't talk too much, but it's probably smarter than Patrick
Do you prefer Western animation or Japanese animation?
This is a good question, a tough one since I enjoy content from either. I probably have a little more fondness of anime from Japan since I grew up on Dragon Ball Z and I've even enjoyed shows like Tenchi, Sailor Moon, and such back in the day. Now days one of the newer ones I liked being Dragon Ball Super and My Hero Academia.

How about Dragon Ball Super or My Hero Academia?
Same here. I grew up with lots of animes broadcasted on TV and I usually enjoyed them more. Also, if I had to do a top including the best animation content I've seen, probably most of my personal top would have animes instead of Western animation
And that's an extremely easy question for me... I can't be objective regarding that, but Dragon Ball has probably been my favourite anime series of all time and the one I enjoyed the most when I was younger. Now that you mentioned Dragon Ball, I've recently watched the Budokai Tenkaichi 4 trailer! I loved those games so much in my younger days and I can't wait to play BT4 after almost two decades. But first, I need a PS5
