In fact, you have to wait until the end, because the game won't give you a code until then!

So if you don’t write down the code it’s lost forever?

No, it's always there in the "Lum's Race" option of the Bonus menu (F2).

Oh fair enough, also my CF score is 25,800 or something like that. Not great, but good for a noob :P

500k points is a fantastic result... And also you can still enjoy the game in a healthy way
If I found the gameplay for 600k points a bit weird, I can't imagine how must it feel to reach 700k points or more. There's no way I have this patience anymore

How much do you get on an average playthrough of the game, 400k?

I guess it depends on the person and the way that person plays the game... I'd say it wasn't a big deal reaching the 500k points barrier. I mean, you can still play the game the way you normally do, just keep in mind a few combos and that's all.

I got 25k on my first run through CF, is that solid enough?

Yeah I think that's good. Not for the WR, but it's solid ;)

I remember when I first played to score (when I got my 701K) having to continuously replay HH2 multiple times in order to get the result I wanted for the hoodlums in the first room!

That's exactaly what I mean... How much does it take to complete that section playing that way? It's definitely a cool challenge, but tbh, I'd quickly burn-out if every time I had to complete Rayman 3 I do it that way.

Just curious... How long did it take you to complete that run?

Iirc it took me at least 2 days to finish that run. I didn't use anything like moonjumps or other techniques at the time though, I probably would have been stuck much longer! It took a lot of practice, timing, and luck. I can only imagine how much it would take if and when I started using the R3 scorers' techniques. :oops2:

Fantastic! :teuf: I love how Razoff's like a Scooby-Doo villain in that video, behind every door you look through. In this case, it's very much a feature, not a bug! :noel:

That was an amazing video! Heheh even up to today there's still potential for achieving better combos, it seems! Seeing this I'm kind of curious to know if there's any sort of trigger after Razoff goes down the stairs, whether he goes left or right.

That's interesting. I had long ago settled that I'm over the moon with breaking 800k, and I don't know if I'd ever have the time or patience to truly get into scoring again like I was from 2018 onwards, but I'm glad that people are still putting effort into finding new combos and ways to achieve even higher scores! :D

There were some indicators that point towards there being gameplay-factors, most notably that the camera just takes different angles every time he runs to the Green Gem instead of to the back of the mansion. However, it felt like an even 50/50 split over all my attempts, even though I can go through them and count if that is any help.

I guess someone could try to analyse his code in Raymap? I might have a look tonight...
