Re: Battle of the Fairy Council
And do your "globe" features such a majestic purple shine and such imposing leaves on its top? I don't think so, "globe" theorist! dO yOuR oWn rEsEaRcH!

Anyway, what were we talking about...?

I just remembered the classic Rayman mods WixeyFlix made for Origins, including the nymphs reworked into limbless fairies like OG Betilla (and also a Ly one).
It's not perfect looking and they should have a more varied look which could match the UbiArt aesthetics more accurately IMO, but it's already much closer in spirit to classic Rayman.

Ah yes... "boobs"... What a classy and poetic topic.Ly's boobs

I actually really love those designs. It really shows how different it could’ve been if the graphic designer wasn’t a 40 year old virgin
Re: Battle of the Fairy Council
So, Betilla is Rayman's mother, YES or NO ???

Re: Battle of the Fairy Council
Maybe? Also I’d like to point out that plot isn’t canon.

Found this ""gem"" in the 2019 edition of the Favourite Rayman Games Survey (in the "Why is Rayman 2 your favourite?" section... Yes
), and it reminded me of some discussions from this topic

Maybe it isn't about a fairy.

Or, with a more literal understanding of the word "chick":

Re: Battle of the Fairy Council
Oh wait, that's it. It's about the robot chicken in the Iron Mountains, isn't it? It's not "yellow alien chick", it's "yellow alien chick[en] dude"! It's just written in a way to make us think it means something else

Re: Battle of the Fairy Council
Lums do count as "fairies" in a way
First exophilia, and now zoophilia? I don't like where this is all goingHunchman801 wrote: Sun Feb 11, 2024 2:00 pm Or, with a more literal understanding of the word "chick":

And now robophilia!? Am I actually walking into FNaF fetishism territory?PluMGMK wrote: Sun Feb 11, 2024 6:32 pm Oh wait, that's it. It's about the robot chicken in the Iron Mountains, isn't it? The funniest thing for me about that quote is that it's this person's unique explanation why Rayman 2 is their favourite!
Dem state-of-the-art 1999 polygons... they're really somethin'!
Now I'm gonna keep referring to the robot chicken Ly as "Yellow Alien Chick"!

Re: Battle of the Fairy Council
I'm pretty sure I'm right... It's someone saying they want to beat the robot chicken, but deliberately using double entendre to make it sound as raunchy as possible...
Re: Battle of the Fairy Council
I contend that perhaps they were mistaking Rayman 2 for Rayman M, and they actually meant this "yellow alien chick".

Re: Battle of the Fairy Council
It's obvious they meant the Grolgoth.

Re: Battle of the Fairy Council
They’re clearly talking about a guy because they call it a “yellow alien chick dude”

Re: Battle of the Fairy Council
They could have omitted a comma and meant "dude" as an interjection. So many possibilities.Greengoop wrote: Tue Feb 13, 2024 12:24 pm They’re clearly talking about a guy because they call it a “yellow alien chick dude”
