Well, we see Reflux, Globox, and Rayman fly up into the sky for the final battle in "the Tetris". So it's possible that the Tetris was some sort of dimension created by the power of the Leptys that simply collapsed not long after Reflux's death. We can probably assume that both Rayman and Globox got out of the Armaguiddon to chase down André, and that they therefore were caught out when the dimension collapsed.lyndo64 wrote: Mon Sep 25, 2023 9:17 pm I've always found it weird that in the ending cutscene, we see Rayman and Globox falling from the sky, when before this they were shown on solid ground.
Does anyone have an explanation for this? I want to sleep help me

Re: Rayman 3
Wasn't "Tetris" just Globox's mispronunciation of "Leptys"? But anyway, yes, it's some kind of alternate dimension / spacetime pocket.

Yes, and most likely.PluMGMK wrote: Mon Nov 06, 2023 11:58 pm Wasn't "Tetris" just Globox's mispronunciation of "Leptys"? But anyway, yes, it's some kind of alternate dimension / spacetime pocket.

Huh, that joke totally flew over my head. All these years I thought that was just the name of the placePluMGMK wrote: Mon Nov 06, 2023 11:58 pm Wasn't "Tetris" just Globox's mispronunciation of "Leptys"?

Re: Rayman 3
You have to press the 3 switches when they light up. Then aim the shock rocket (the orange can that appears) at the little guy controlling the Hoodstomper. You have to smack him 3 times to win. The third time slapdashes will also block the switches so you have to get rid of them. The rest of the fight is you just squashing hoodlums so have at it!

Re: Rayman 3
I need to make it a goal to replay this game again, but I haven't really sat down to get back to it since Windows 10 bricked itself a few years back on me. I think I still was able to retain my save from that though. Worst case I'll just have to start all over again.
I did love and enjoy all the texture mods and shader stuff I had in place, which configuration I do have saved.
-Edit-
Good news, I got everything set back up on my system between Rayman 3, the texture mods, re-shader, and even the raytracing simulated features of it and my save is all safe and sound. Main question is whether or not to play this game in Ultra Wide or not.

Re: Rayman 3
So I found something very interesting today. I was playing through Rayman 3 and was about to reach the end of the Fairy Council teensie highway when I realised i missed some gems when jumping off the last platform. As the game was already displaying the level select I had no choice but to close the game and reopen it. My score was 33700 at that time. When I reopened the game and got to the save file, the game dropped me off at the beginning of the highway with the same score I had at the end before I reset. I thought it was a joke so I tried it once more. By the time I ACTUALLY finished I somehow got this score:
(my original ending score)
(i thought this was a joke at first)
(my weird score after 2 times of closing and reopening the game)

Re: Rayman 3
Ah, you've rediscovered the infamous "mostwanted's trick": viewtopic.php?p=360021#p360021
Re: Rayman 3
Yeah, this has been known for years, but none of the PC players used it, for obvious reasons
Never realised it wasn't a known thing, but then again, it's not really highlighted anywhere.
MG actually discovered this glitch the same way, he messed up the gem combo and then ALT + F4'ed, only to find that the game kept the score. Something about the game keeping level progress/score progress seperate, or something along these lines iirc.

Re: Rayman 3
I had it happen to me years back too in LOTLD when I was trying to get into scoring. I of course didn't keep the score, and I would dislike if this really happened to me on the last part of a level, as I wouldn't be able to see it as truly genuine then and it would mean starting over the entire level.
Re: Rayman 3
Is it something specific to the Teensy highways, or can it be triggered in any part of any level?
Re: Rayman 3
It works in every level with a Level Score at the end, just gotta ALT + F4 when the % rating shows up. I'm not sure it works in levels without the Level Score animation (e.g. the doctors' offices) though.

Re: Rayman 3
I didn't even know this was a thing that existed either, honestly. I take it you pretty much run into zero risk of this being a problem as long as you don't close out of the game abruptly?
The only issue I know I ran into during my playthrough with Master, Steo, and Jonster around was when I was in the summit and two of the enemies that fly around ended up outside the map, and I had to start over. Which simply was just reloading the save there.

Re: Rayman 3
As mentioned earlier, while I am not entirely sure either, I think this is an issue with the game saving your score progress during the Level Score animation, but not saving your level progress yet (or something along those lines). Ending the game abruptly anywhere else shouldn't be much of an issue, I think it is specifically related to the score rating portion of the level.

Re: Rayman 3
To give greater context, it was the Lavomatrices boss fight in the second level, iirc Reese had beaten the Hoodblasters but the bosses didn't spawn in the arena as they should've. The boss theme did seem to play so they were present.Hoodcom wrote: Wed Dec 20, 2023 5:47 pm The only issue I know I ran into during my playthrough with Master, Steo, and Jonster around was when I was in the summit and two of the enemies that fly around ended up outside the map, and I had to start over. Re: Rayman 3
If I recall, the fireballs were also going in a circle on the ground for some reason when I was watching during that fight. Not sure what caused them to spawn in the incorrect locations, but it was curious that happened.
Re: Rayman 3
Yeah I remember the fireballs were just circling around and when he would try to approach them, they'd fly towards him. I can't remember if I had this glitch before, but I mostly played on Xbox. Either way, it's strange, and it would definitely be annoying in terms of scoring if you had done well before reaching that lavomatrix battle.

Re: Rayman 3
Yeah, what these guys said, I don't have the names of these enemies all memorized like they do.
Though I will stay that Steo's educated me quite a bit on how some combos actually worked. I always thought it was simply doubled, I didn't realize it can go beyond that!
I keep learning more about this game, he may make a good sensei for this!
I think I will try to replay a couple of the levels with my new founded knowledge, and see how things go from there. Especially in the Land of the Livid Dead.
