+ I'm not super tired, which helps I didn't stay up late last night.
+ It's a week away from Christmas Day!
- I still need to wrap Christmas gifts, and I still need to print some labels to use on them.
+ My gift shopping is all done.

- Yesterday I ate chips for lunch as I was doing a Rayman 3 run with Master.
+ Yesterday was a fun day though, and the Rayman 3 run went well overall.

- I didn't get a lot of sleep last night.
- my stomach felt weird most of the day, probably related to the first point.

+ I got a gift sent from Ireland, which included some Barry's Tea!

+/- I'm a bit worried about my visit to the urologist on Friday. Hopefully it will be okay.

+ Finally finished watching all the movies for The Hunger Games. I feel satisfied today.
+/- Thinking of asking a friend if they'll help me make a special Christmas Jade rank.
- Yesterday a cup of tea blew up in my bag and got most of my library books wet. Joy!

- woke up during the night with a horrible stomach cramp for some reason.

+ It's getting better now, but I still feel a bit bloated.

- Office cat wasn't feeling well this morning, so some cleanup had to be done.
+ She seems to be feeling better now by noon. Maybe a tummy bug or something she ate.
- Dad's office computer would no longer boot into Windows, yay...
+ After having gone to the store again today, I got some USB drives and made a linux one and a Wiindows 10 installation one. The former to allow me to make backups of data and the latter in the event of a reinstall.
+ Fortunately I didn't have to reinstall Windows 10 on that machine, the repair diagnostics actually worked for a change.
- I'm feeling a bit tired today, since I wasn't able to sleep throughout the whole night well.

– I haven't been sleeping well lately either.
± I have an idea why… So I've been learning Lisp (more specifically SKILL) at work lately, and between this and the screwing around I did with Rayman 3 last weekend, a dangerous idea has taken root in my mind, like a virus: demonstrating Greenspun's tenth rule by augmenting/replacing Rayman 3's scripting system with a Lisp evaluator! I'm worried that I'll actually end up spending much of my Christmas holidays on this, instead of, you know, spending time with my family, chilling, reading, gaming, or even catching up on some of the other crazy programming projects I started during the year but let fall by the wayside!

± Speaking of gaming… I just got my "Steam Year In Review" report and apparently I barely spent any time at all in 2023 playing games in my Steam library. This means it's been over a year since I last played through Half-Life, and even longer since I played Black Mesa

– Spent ages today looking for some stuff at work and was perturbed that I couldn't remember what I had done with it… Eventually I came to the conclusion that a supplier neglected to send it back the last time they used it to do work for us…
+ Only two more working days left in the year… Just have to remain vaguely productive for a little… while… longer…

+ Christmas is almost here, so enthralled!
+ Mom asked me to buy a chocolate fountain for New Years, which makes me happy. Been wanting to have chocolate fondue for the longest time now in cold weather like this.

- Apparently my girlfriend got scammed trying to order some handbags (it looks like a phishing site to me, and they sent her cheap sunglasses instead of what she ordered).
- Probably won't get a refund but whatever, it's just money.
- Had to order myself a new debit card and cancel the old one in case, since the old one is probably on some scammers database now.
+ The card issuer was nice enough to send the new card for free.
+ I look forward to Christmas, and I'll be travelling to my gf's parents in just under an hour.

+ MIL is having her Christmas chili dinner tomorrow!! It's an old tradition of her family's she likes to do, a lot of people do show up.

+ Finally, Christmas holidays! Now I have plenty of time for myself
+/- My visit to the urologyst was better than expected. I was worried about it, but in the end it will be a fast surgery procedure, so hopefully everything will be fine. Now I have to wait for a long time until they tell me when can they do it.
- I finished correcting some exams and around half of the people didn't pass. Not gonna lie, that isn't a pleasant feeling.

That's always an option.

To be fair, this never happened before. Weirdly it was even the first result on Google so they must have bumped it somehow. Of course, in future we have to look out for that type of carry on.

+ It literally rained all day yesterday!!! I love dark dreary weather, so that was really nice. We must've gotten an inch just in one day, which is abnormal for us.
+ Christmas chili dinner event is tonight, and I'm excited for yummy food. I'll be helping my MIL a lot with the setup.
-/+ In the meantime until I can find time for an appointment, I'm self-medicating my morning sickness with saltine crackers, chicken noodle soup, and 7up. Seems to be helping a bit already.

- This morning dad was cranky with me cuz I had somehow left the bidet on after the last time I used it and the bathroom apparently got a little flooded, with water even seeping down to the kitchen. What a great way to start the day.
+ Successfully made my own jam for the first time! I made it strawberry jam and added chia seeds for some protein. Hope it turns out well when I have a sandwich later!
