My Rayman Art
A place where I will archive my Rayman fanart. I mainly focus on the original trilogy with my work, but draw for fan projects as well!

Those are some great drawings, nice work!
So, you don't like Ly at all, right?

Yes, I'm glad you finally made a topic for your art. Great stuff, I wonder what Ly was trying to say

Thank you very much! Who is this "Ly" you speak of? I've never heard of her!DaveRattlehead wrote: Wed Dec 27, 2023 8:23 pm Those are some great drawings, nice work!

Thanks, Piranha! Your message inspired me to post it somewhere while setting up my art accountsElite Piranha wrote: Wed Dec 27, 2023 9:16 pm Yes, I'm glad you finally made a topic for your art. Great stuff, I wonder what Ly was trying to say.

Re: My Rayman Art
I love your art style!!
You make drawing the baddies of Rayman's universe such as the Robo-Pirate look easy.
Absolutely love the third drawing, I snorted.
You captured Rayman's expressions so well!

Re: My Rayman Art
Oh, that's true, I forgot that line from the game, I don't know how since I played it recentlySilverLum wrote: Wed Dec 27, 2023 10:09 pm As for what she was trying to say, this is a scenario where she falls asleep before she can ask Rayman if he's ever heard of Polokus haha
Also, I agree with Immortalia about how you drew Rayman's expressions, they look like something you could find in an official R2 manual or artwork.
Re: My Rayman Art
Moved to the Rayman Fanworks section, as that's exactLy where it belongs.
Nice work by the way.

Re: My Rayman Art
The Robo-Pirate was actually quite the challenge, so I'm glad you like it!
Thank you all for the comments and for liking the Rayman expressions, haha. I've been drawing a lot of R2 Ray lately so it's fun to mix it up by giving him a lot of emotion

Re: My Rayman Art
I can imagine so, I can't even draw (at least not well).
Nice also, these all look like concept arts. Keep up the good work.

Re: My Rayman Art
I think everyone can draw, it just matters how much time you're willing to put into honing the craft. And thank you very much! That's a tall compliment right there haha
Re: My Rayman Art
I have drawn before and shared them on here, but it took me much longer than it should for a somewhat average drawing. It does make sense that putting the time and effort in to improve would yield results, and you likely get faster from experience. I admire that others are good at art, but I think I should use my time to improve at programming etc., because it's important for mine and Hoodoo's future to get everything together.
Nice way to put it though, that anyone can really do it if they put the effort in. It's good to look at things this way.

Re: My Rayman Art
*After Rayman gives up guessing what Ly was trying to say, he leaves, and a Rabbid who was listening in walks up to where Ray was standing. After thinking for a minute, he asked, “Plunger?” and pulled out a plunger to put in Ly’s hand. Another idea popped in his head. “Polokus!” Ly sprang awake! “Yes, exactly! That’s…” she then noticed the Rabbid watching her float.

Re: My Rayman Art
Yeah, and honestly if you just want to hone the crafts you already have a handle on like programming, then that's a good pursuit! Maybe you'll have time for art laterSteo wrote: Thu Dec 28, 2023 6:12 pm I have drawn before and shared them on here, but it took me much longer than it should for a somewhat average drawing. Thanks, Hunch! Ly is my favorite character to draw. You'll likely see more of her if you stick around haha (:
