Re: Your new home in the Glade of Dreams
I wonder, if you lived in a place in Rayman’s world, would there always be music playing?

Re: Your new home in the Glade of Dreams
So you're basically stating that R1 music is great for studying, and I guess in a sense that could be true. Pretty sure there's one piece of music I could listen to while studying. Maybe from like Band Land or Cave of Skops or something.

Jokes aside, there are good pieces to chill to in Origins. One of my favorites has to be Steampunk Suspense in Moody Clouds.
Oh yes, nothing like eerie sea music or Spanish singers singing "ay-ay-ay-ay".

Re: Your new home in the Glade of Dreams
I don't think there'd be perpetual music, except maybe in Band Land or the Desert of Dijiridoos…
As for living in the Longest Shortcut, I'd admire the courage of anyone who'd live there, considering my own impression of its purpose
I guess it'd be like living in the Gearagh forest near Macroom in County Cork…

I like the outdoors there, from what we get to see of it at least.PluMGMK wrote: Sun Sep 24, 2023 10:45 pm I don't think there'd be perpetual music, except maybe in Band Land or the Desert of Dijiridoos…

If I was going to live in The Longest Shortcut it would be somewhere where I can see nature too. Despite how empty it feels, the areas where you can see nature are pretty neat to see.

You might even hear the echoed calls of matuvus that greet you every time you step out of your houseThe Jonster wrote: Mon Sep 25, 2023 5:45 am If I was going to live in The Longest Shortcut it would be somewhere where I can see nature too. Or the mysterious sound of tribelles floating around too! Plus, I dig all the music in The Longest Shortcut so I wouldn't mind pressing the buttons even though I find the buzzers annoying!
This one's still one of my faves (no not just because it has focus on my favorite powerup in the game)

What about the quiet singing of the tribelles? Afaik there was always at least one tribelle in every phase of the Longest Shortcut!SilverLum wrote: Mon Sep 25, 2023 8:31 pmYou might even hear the echoed calls of matuvus that greet you every time you step out of your houseThe Jonster wrote: Mon Sep 25, 2023 5:45 am If I was going to live in The Longest Shortcut it would be somewhere where I can see nature too. I really like that one too! The level is quite simple, but the music is very good. The Jonster wrote: Mon Sep 25, 2023 8:54 pm This one's still one of my faves (no not just because it has focus on my favorite powerup in the game)

Definitely the Land of the Livid Dead too, it's so peaceful and beautiful. I mean, my favorite place in the series is probably the Sanctuary of Stone and Fire, but I know better than to live near an active volcano.SilverLum wrote: Sat Aug 26, 2023 4:13 pm I would personally love to live in the Land of the Livid dead (R3). It has such an Irish countryside feeling. So cozy! And imagine being able to swim in that crystal clear water everyday

I wanna live in that big ass tree Rayman sleeps in at the beginning of origins

Maybe not for living, but that would be a great spot for taking naps
Just a question for the winter enjoyers...
What about living in the Summit Beyond the Clouds? Of course, without the Hoodlums' fortress
