Now that is epic! Funny that they programmed the sphere sitting on the plum but didn't bother with a generic way to handle plums on posts (and hence screwed up hoodlumsworld's run) :mefiant:

Here's mine:

Not much to say really… I just didn't bother wasting time killing the pirates, and otherwise did what I would normally do, which meant there were no death warps or anything like that :oops2: But I did get the walking shell run first time, which like for hoodlumsworld, was a very pleasant surprise! :hap:

Anyway, a well-deserved congratulations to the winners! :teuf:

gg everyone, and thanks for organizing this again, always fun to have this event to look forward to !
This year's challenge was quite special for me. When previous years it was usually something I had already done, or so similar that I could pretty much come up with a route just by reading the goal, this time I was pretty much starting from zero in comparison, as I’ve only really ran Any% in Rayman 2, which completely skips Stone & Fire. This really got me out of my comfort zone !
Despite that I’m pretty happy with the time I was able to get in the end, I was aiming for at least sub 15, and I managed to get it, so mission accomplished !
Here's the run if you wanna take a look : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MYp8ZKnmxQM

I just got the money! I'm planning to use it to improve my streams, maybe to get a webcam :p

Also just in case anyone is interested, I just made some individual levels leaderboards for Rayman 2 category extensions on speedrun.com, so feel free to submit your run here if you want: https://www.speedrun.com/r2ce?h=sanct-o ... 9-ndxvo0r2
(the timing method is slitghly different, starting right after the first cutscene, but otherwise it's the same).

Glad to hear it will be of use! :D

As for the new leaderboard, is it registered as a different "game" on speedrun.com? If yes, that probably means I'll need to update SpeedBot's configuration to pick up those runs too.

I think you need to update the bot if you want to see all the meme runs indeed :p

Thanks for the heads-up, I've just updated it. Now let's hope we don't regret this.

GG to the handsome winner!

Here's my run, a bit late but still.
I admit I had the very last Sunday to try and get a run, so that's what I got in like 10 hours of tries. The sub 16 might have been possible with some better stuff, but not beyond.

I got a better, cleaner run without the pirate boost at the start and it was just a few seconds above this time.

But even with a full month I wouldn't have been able to get that tasty first place :P

Some starts I didn't know, and some others were too stupid for me, I'm too old for this now

It was fun, but I wouldn't run this level for months, I get PTSD of plum spamming now lmao
