Tonic Trouble xinput problem

Hi, I followed the guide to get the retail version of tonic trouble working and it works perfectly but doesn't detect my xbox one/series controller. I tried downloading xidi and using that(which is probably what you guys are using anyways?) but that doesn't work either. Not sure what to do other than maybe using antimicrox and mapping the controls to the keyboard.

Also I'm not sure if I mentioned it on the setup tutorial but Xidi will only work on Windows 10 and 11.

So my problem was that I didn't know that you need to set the control mode in the game options to Keyboard and controller... lol
