Rayman Legends Fan DLC: Adventures & Mini Become Legendary!

Wouldnt it be cool if in the Mod there also were the characters from Rayman origins BUT in the artstyle of origins and the characters would just be named as an example: Rayman (Origin). Also im pretty sure it would be possible to Transfer the origins character textures to Legends because there is already a Mod That did exactly this

Well, the idea is not bad, the thing is that I don't know if Droolie is going to consider it, especially because in Gamebanana there are already two mods that are responsible for passing the Origins designs into Legends

I have an amazing idea, I hope droolie approves it. So what if... WHAT IF In the Fan DLC when it comes out, what if we have to free every teensie and when we have done that. We unlock a secret level... A Musical one! What is the music gonna be? Why are you asking? Of course its gonna be Sexbomb

At most, something closer to this could be the musical levels in Mini, the bad thing is that they don't have new music but others that are already used...
But maybe to fix that, I would like that instead of using the original music or the 8-bit versions, why not mix both versions?

How can you add more frames with heros ? And also how can you extend the gallery ? Pls somebody tell me. I just know the way that you can replace some characters with others, but i don´t know the way you can add more frames.

It is obvious that the Fan DLC will not be paid, that is, it is free once its development is completed
The only thing that if you are going to pay would be the complete game that is on Steam/Ubisoft Connect

And if you're wondering, the DLC cannot be played within the Demo version, because there are many elements that are not present compared to the purchased game ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Thank you so much, Michu & HiroshiHimself! I'll start implementing these textures now.
It took a while for me to get back to this because I've been working very hard on a different part of the DLC. Because of this I missed pretty much everything since the start of April. Does this Drive folder contain everything? I remember a newer version of the Rayman TV sprites being shared some time before I left the modding server, but I don't see them here.

I see. That would be great then!

In the meantime, I've implemented everything that's currently in the Drive folder (as of May 31st). I have to say: really amazing work!!!

Some small issues I noticed, I don't really mind them too much but maybe it can be improved:


Raybolt's new backlight has a weird highlight under his eye. I think it's in the head sprite? It would be good to remove that part I think. The side of his mouth also looks a bit off here. I don't remember seeing these issues in the previous backlight texture...


The backlight makes (the top part of) Shayman's mouth look a bit odd too, because it gets cut off like that. For comparison, Raybox's mouth backlight in the same animation is much softer and doesn't get cut off.

By the way, I forgot if at some point you guys redid Globox Adventurer's backlight? At the moment I'm still using the broken one from Rayman Mini:

Michu did get to make the textures for Adventure Globox, but I think he hasn't published it in his Drive folder yet
There are also some things that have not been published yet apart from the Rayman TV sprites, such as the fixed CandyRay sprites (no the backlight textures), the back sprite of Dark Teensy and the Teensy prisoners, among others

And that, the defects in the backlight textures like Shayman and maybe others that I did before like Hellen (with her I will only slightly change the textures of her hair if I see it necessary), (RAYMAN) RED I will solve later, but with these costumes they would only be small changes, but with Raybolt if I plan to remake it from scratch or just fix some parts of the hair or head, funny enough, this specific costume was the one that caused me the most problems when making it xd

Even so, I'm glad that most of the costumes turned out well, especially that there aren't many of the missing ones (less than 10 I think)

Well I was checking Shayman's textures and this is how it looks now, can I send you the textures again with this change so you can check it?
I will send it to Drive, and if it looks good, I will correct it with the other costumes that present the same error.

Looks a little better now It's not cut off anymore, but I think that part of the backlight is still both too strong and too sharp compared to the Raybox example. I don't really mind much though, so I'll consider it fixed.


As for Raybolt, I don't think there's any need to redo the whole thing, that would be way too much effort for something that is mostly great already! Personally I would just change part of the mouth & head backlight that I mentioned. If you prefer I can try to change these parts too.

hey, im not that a big of a rayman modder but i can do duck sprites and mosquito sprites, i cant do backlight....

Thanks! I'm adding them into the game now (the updated princess/queen backlight textures too).
Now this is just missing the prisoner baby back sprites, which should be the same as all the other ones except with no hat.
