Re: Your Pets
I heard it depends which way they cross your path, I think it was if it’s the right that’s good luck and it’s bad if it’s the left

Re: Your Pets
Actually I didn't know about this regarding black cats, very curious information!
I have a black cat as well. I got lucky though, since he doesn't like going outside.

I heard it’s less common for cats to go outside in the US?The Jonster wrote: Sun Aug 27, 2023 8:22 pm Actually I didn't know about this regarding black cats, very curious information!

Re: Your Pets
I have a golden retriever named Max, who’s a bundle of joy and always full of energy. He loves playing fetch and snuggling up on the couch. I also have a mischievous tabby cat named Luna, who enjoys climbing on everything and has a knack for stealing socks. What about you? Share your pets' names, breeds, and any funny or heartwarming stories you have about them!Xenon wrote: Tue Mar 08, 2005 5:29 pm I'm interested to find out what kind of pets you all have.Describe them, tell what their names are etc.

Re: Your Pets
Interesting, my aunt one had a cat named Luna. She was so mischievous (as in she pisses everywhere) that she had to give her away to the shelter. Good thing she has 2 more well-behaved cats (who love me more than my own pets do)

Re: Your Pets
A lot of cats are named luna, I know somebody who named their cat that too! My cat has a very weird name though
Re: Your Pets
We have 4 dogs in the house at the moment. As far as I know, they are somewhat crossed but I can't remember the exact breeds of them all. I know they are mostly jack russell, but we also have one chihuahua crossed with a jack russell.

Re: Your Pets
I wonder what the association is there… Maybe because their pupils can change shape like the phases of the moon? But cats' eyes don't go crescent-shaped…

Oh right, maybe because of how they often have white patches that look like the moon in the night sky?Greengoop wrote: Fri Aug 16, 2024 11:29 pm I believe it’s to do with black cats. Kinda like how 70% of ginger cats (forgot the correct term) are called tiger

Re: Your Pets
I still don't have any pets but I need to show you my mum's dog who is a literal goblin for tea and growls at my nan to be given some. But yeah this is Cassie and she's a night fury disguised as a Patterdale and Border terrier cross.

I’d assume it’s probably just because they’re black, and black is associated with nightPluMGMK wrote: Fri Aug 16, 2024 11:34 pm Oh right, maybe because of how they often have white patches that look like the moon in the night sky?

Re: Your Pets
I wouldn’t be surprised. A lot of short names like that are common for cats

Missed this… The dog drinks tea? Is the caffeine not bad for her?Cairnie wrote: Fri Aug 16, 2024 11:35 pm I still don't have any pets but I need to show you my mum's dog who is a literal goblin for tea and growls at my nan to be given some. Re: Your Pets
Yeah myself and CherryT were talking about this in the Discord server. I had shared a picture of one of our dogs drinking tea which my dad had left behind, and then they shared a picture of their dog drinking from a cup too.PluMGMK wrote: Fri Aug 16, 2024 11:48 pm Missed this… The dog drinks tea? Yeah she's very spoilt. And I think the milk isn't exactly great for her either as well, .

Re: Your Pets
Everybody raises pets differently it seems. My cats spoiled compared to my cousins so when Beryl hit and we had to spend nights at her house my dad asked if her cats were malnutritioned which definitely wasn’t the case.

Re: Your Pets
I think Cassie eats a good enough diet otherwise, but she just goes mental for tea and sometimes porridge. My older grandmother is also carrying on the tradition of treating the family dogs to a digestive biscuit and just like my previous dog Jessie did, Cassie goes nuts anytime my grandmother comes over.

Re: Your Pets
Whenever my dog and cat react to strangers they’re opposites. The dog immediately runs and barks at them (which isn’t that effective since she’s small and cute, while the cat just runs away and hides.
