Oh it was just a regular cheesecake. I want to have a chocolate one though next time.

Indeed it is! I love chocolate so much. now, if only I could get accustomed to the more darker flavours....

Re: Favourite cake?
My personal favourite is caramel, but any cheesecake is fine as long as it’s not spam

The top bit would be pink and would have small meat chunks as a “topping”

Re: Favourite cake?
Oh so you just didn't like it. Did they just slip in a sandwich and give it to you like that, just curious?

Re: Favourite cake?
Well that's entirely up to you, not me
At least you tried!
When it comes to cake I don't like fondant. Not that into American buttercream either. I love a good cream cheese frosting though or ganache

Vanilla and with lots of colorful whipped frosting. Mmm. There's a lot of other cakes I do like, though. Like the Unicorn Icecream cake ones, angel food cake, cheese cake, oreo cake, pound cake...Basically if it's cake, I like it. Some flavors I don't like though, like just chocolate. Or strawberry. I'm sure there's others but they're probably few and far in-between. I've been wanting to try the Merveilleux style of cake myself, they look really good.

Re: Favourite cake?
I used to like cake a lot back then. These days I'm not as fond of it as I'm used to, I've kinda switched more towards cheesecake, ice cream, and the like. But I'll still have it if it's given to me, no doubt.

Re: Favourite cake?
For a few times now I've been trying to make my own cheesecakes with the basic cream cheese and double cream mix but so far not having the best of luck getting it to get fluffy at the moment. But so far I've tried making biscoff and it's been good enough. I am so goddamn obsessed with biscoff.

I made my own cheesecake once and I thought it was probably the best cheesecake I’ve ever had

Re: Favourite cake?
The other thing I am obsessed with is cookie pies like the ones from the cake stand chain Batch'd. Those things are like bricks though and I don't recommend having a whole slice to yourself, I always feel like I have to share it with my fiancé when we do treat ourselves to one.
My good god though the creme egg one, that was nuts.

Re: Favourite cake?
I want to try making my own cheesecake someday. Using the springform pan I bought for mom and she's never used. And without using a storebought crust like my dad does. I love being obsessed with cheesecake.
