Re: Rayman 3
Indeed, the explanation is just that they were reused for convenience. And while it's nice to sometimes imagine connections where the developers really never thought of them, in this specific case, I can't think of a good reason for this pattern appearing in both places!

Re: Rayman 3
That's why fanon exists I suppose
I've always had the headcanon that the Hoodlums were able to industrialise and get machinery as quickly as they did because they were able to get ahold of leftover Robo-Pirate technology. As for the use in architecture, I wonder if the Glades' inhabitants took to using the leftovers as building materials. Seeing as the LotLD is on the coast, I wonder if they have a lot wreckage from the Pirate Ships wash up ashore that saw repurposing?

Re: Rayman 3
That would make a lot of sense, and it would have been great to see illustrations of that in the game.
Rayman 3 High Score
Hey, I am trying to enter my high score of Rayman 3 in the Pirate community but it's says that the key is wrong. What do I do ? I have the screen of Rayman 3 in frount of me, I entered the password with and without space, but it seems he doesn't recognize the key.
EDIT:
Well, good news guys, the problem has partially fixed, and I can now show my score in the world ranking.
I am currently in 80e place, I am so glad to be in the top 100. However I don't think I have the courage to improve that score, since it has been a long time since I really played Rayman 3. So my score will likely stay the same.

Re: Rayman 3
It's a decent score already, but if you decide to improve it at some point, I recommend trying the guides here.

Rayman 3 is a lot of fun. What’s your favorite level/stage?

Re: Rayman 3
Ooh that’s a nice level. Terrible for scoring for me, but a nice short level regardless. My favorite level would be clear leaf forest. Quiet and calming
Re: Rayman 3
My favorite world is probably either Desert of the Knaaren or The Longest Shortcut.
Both of these switch up the gameplay quite a bit from the other worlds:
Both have less/no Hoodlums, meaning less interruptions of the music by relatively crappy Hoodlum battle tracks
Desert of the Knaaren adds the constant tension from being chased by the Knaaren and zombie chickens. The music really accentuates this and I love it.
The Longest Shortcut leans much more heavily into platforming than any other world and presents some new ideas like the mirror puzzles. I like the chill vibes given by the music and environment design here too.
Of course, the music and environment is just perfect in The Land of the Livid Dead, but these previous two are just really unique, I think.

I find that I prefer different R3 levels at different times. But Hoodlum Headquarters is probably my least favorite one. It' just drags...

I agree with this but I do admit the music here slaps.

Glad to see I'm not the only one who thinks that! TLS is the perfect world when I want to chill playing a Rayman game.Droolie wrote: Sat Aug 17, 2024 3:45 pm My favorite world is probably either Desert of the Knaaren or The Longest Shortcut.

Very good, I like The Longest Shortcut myself and in the past I have stated that the Longest Shortcut was my favorite level. It still is one of my favorites regardless.
Re: Rayman 3
I've always founded TLS to be very relaxing

Yes, indeed! I find Clearleaf Forest, The Longest Shortcut, and The Bog of Murk to have distinct calming soundtracks to me. Well certain areas of Bog of Murk anyways.

Re: Rayman 3
Clearleaf forest also has one of the most calming songs. It also brings a lot of nostalgia and magical vibes
