Re: Favourite pasta
Lasagne is good, but because of lingual barriers I rarely consider it pasta.
The one most crazy kind I like would be cannelloni.

Re: Favourite pasta
While I can remember lasagne is considered pasta, the fact tortellini and ravioli do so too baffles me.

Oh yeah, I know what you're talking about, mom's made some dishes with chicken and alfredo sauce with those before and they were really good. The Jonster wrote: Sat Aug 17, 2024 7:17 pm My favorite pasta....hmmm....well I actually like bowties and their shape. Is that bad?![]()

Re: Favourite pasta
I really want to try making a one-pot meal I had seen on tasty using this pasta with chicken, mushrooms, spinach and some other ingredients I don't remember.
The first really good pasta dish I made used bowties. I used dad's recipe for parmesan crusted chicken and made my own alfredo italian style. And then added spinach and bacon to it too, and it was almost perfect! Except maybe I oversalted.

Re: Favourite pasta
I had my cousin's mac and cheese a couple weeks ago! This time I asked her to put white cheddar, gouda, and i think mozzarella. That came out really cheesy and nice.

Re: Favourite pasta
I made some Mac yesterday and perhaps in the future I could try adding a little mild mustard to it.
In the health and beauty stores Boots they actually sell pasta for babies and one of the types are tiny little stars, they look so tempting.

Re: Favourite pasta
I really like mushrooms and cream in my pasta. Seafood is optional.
Lasagna with cheeses is great too.

Re: Favourite pasta
What I typically do for my mac and cheese, is the macaroni gets boiled in water that I've added chicken bouillon cubes to. I love the way it makes it taste.
Re: Favourite pasta
That actually sounds delicious, I'll have to try it sometime.
