Well, a standard way of reaching out to former regulars would certainly come in handy in such situations, but I'm not sure what would work best.Master wrote: Sun Aug 18, 2024 12:03 am I suggest an RPC signal, and those that are summoned can appear dramatically.

I wouldn’t personally find you weird for that, I don’t usually think people find me weird I don’t play English Football/soccer, despite watching itThe Jonster wrote: Sat Aug 17, 2024 8:42 pm I'm glad people around the world like American football. I'm also sure people would find me weird if I were to tell them I don't watch American football.![]()

At least you have the one super bowl victory from like forever ago!Pirez wrote: Sun Aug 18, 2024 7:50 am Bro I'm a Jets fan. And I'm not even American. I don't know how this came to be but rest assured I understand your sorrow![]()
Re: The reunion thread
Great to hear from all of you again! I'll definitely try to show up more often in the future.
Re: The reunion thread
Hey, Rulez! Cool to see another name I remember from the glory days of the mid-naughties! How's it going?
Re: The reunion thread
I don't recall actually saying it, but hi also Rules! I think I recall speaking with you a few times back around 2018 or so if memory serves correctly. Also hi Tobbe.

Perhaps for the case of Xenon, we should try to make sure he has a PM requesting contact information, in case he pops by again. Since he did swing by in December last year, it's always possible he'll randomly show up again for a quick visit in the future.Hunchman801 wrote: Sun Aug 18, 2024 12:02 pm Well, a standard way of reaching out to former regulars would certainly come in handy in such situations, but I'm not sure what would work best.![]()

Hey, Tobbe! I'm doing great, although not quite as badass as your career - congrats!Tobbe wrote: Sun Aug 18, 2024 2:53 pm Hey, Rulez! Cool to see another name I remember from the glory days of the mid-naughties! How's it going?
Let me look for my summary there real quick... yeah, got it:
Rulez wrote: Sat Aug 17, 2024 12:23 amThank you, brother! My solo album's sort of brooding progressive rock, and the other project is kind of alternative metal, or is it hard rock? There's definitely some Rayman 2, M & 3 soundtrack inspirations here and there!Hoodcom wrote: Sat Aug 17, 2024 12:12 amWhoa, that's awesome! I'm glad to hear that! I'll have to check out your albums sometime, what genre do you typically go for?Rulez wrote: Sat Aug 17, 2024 12:07 amI'm doing great! Just got my master's degree, released two albums of my music, and I work mostly as a musician, tutor and translator, whatever's necessary. Fuck, I'm even an organist - not a believer, though!
What kind of tutoring do you offer specifically?
As for tutoring, let's see... drums & percussion, guitar, ukulele, piano, English, German, maths and music theory... gotta make a living, you know!

That's a very good idea, I'm sure he will eventually pass by at some point!Hoodcom wrote: Sun Aug 18, 2024 5:37 pm Perhaps for the case of Xenon, we should try to make sure he has a PM requesting contact information, in case he pops by again. Yeah, doctor's one thing, but being a surgeon is another. Personally I couldn't stomach the things either have to see. So I'm glad someone else can handle it.
Re: The reunion thread
Drop by Namsos, Norway sometime, I'll take you along as an observer on a total hip replacement

Re: The reunion thread
If you faint during surgery you have to make waffles for all the other surgeons, that's the law
Re: The reunion thread
well in that case, fainting sounds nice for a change lolTobbe wrote: Wed Aug 21, 2024 10:33 pm If you faint during surgery you have to make waffles for all the other surgeons, that's the law![]()
Re: The reunion thread
I totally don't want to be a surgeon there while someone faints.
