Re: Record day compilation
It was a double post in the hangman game, not a big deal. If it isn't something very specific or annoying it's very hard to find them unless you casually see it.

I guess it's very unlikely to have these data from other years, isn't it?

Is it worrying that EMS isn't the first thing that comes to my mind?
Also, don't get confused with those ,... As the program is in Spanish it uses , instead of .
It wasn't a big deal as I had the template from last year but thanks!

Re: Record day compilation
It shouldn't be too hard, just a little time-consuming as record days did not always take place at the same time, or even on the same day. There's even that time the deadline was extended because of a severe crash, though I'm not sure by how much.DaveRattlehead wrote: Tue Aug 20, 2024 2:20 pm I guess it's very unlikely to have these data from other years, isn't it?
As a rule of thumb, until I can be bothered to remove them. Usually, nobody complains about them being around a little longer anyway.Greengoop wrote: Tue Aug 20, 2024 1:37 pm Anyway How long with these custom groups/ranks be around for?
I reached out to OCG on Facebook but I don't think he's active there anymore so that would be a good idea. Jona too, especially if we get ahold of Matyuv as well.Greengoop wrote: Tue Aug 20, 2024 2:45 pm I think maybe next time I should try inviting OCG, as he’s still active on reddit (or maybe even Jona since I found his linkedin)

Re: Record day compilation
Does matyuv have any socials? Also OCG goes by u/oldclassicgamer on Reddit and he seems interested in lost song mysteries

Re: Record day compilation
Ah yes, I remember that extension from the severe crash. While the issue we had with this year's RD server crash did keep us from getting a higher record, it was no where near the severity of the 2013 crash. We'll just have to try harder next year!Hunchman801 wrote: Wed Aug 21, 2024 9:56 am It shouldn't be too hard, just a little time-consuming as record days did not always take place at the same time, or even on the same day. Yeah, I'm pretty happy with how things are right now.Hunchman801 wrote: Wed Aug 21, 2024 9:56 am As a rule of thumb, until I can be bothered to remove them. Usually, nobody complains about them being around a little longer anyway.![]()
Plus the way I see it, it's like a reward for having a good time, we get to keep silly things in place for longer in celebration of a job well done!
Yeah, I have a way to reach Matyuv on Steam, still. Though I haven't heard from OCG in forever. Oh yeah, that reminds me...Hunchman801 wrote: Wed Aug 21, 2024 9:56 am I reached out to OCG on Facebook but I don't think he's active there anymore so that would be a good idea. Re: Record day compilation
Are you gonna ask matyuv to return then?
Re: Record day compilation
Cool, maybe he can also give us some old USSR servers, it would help modernize a bit the infrastructure so we don't have a crash next year.
