Dude, dress him up as a doctor and we can have some nice pictures of him! Paging Dr. Hunch, paging Dr. Hunch...

I better hurry up before I start looking older than what can reasonably be expected of a medical student, then. That is, if it's not too late already.

I’ve seen 10 year olds looking 17, so there’s a chance you could fool them

Ah dick did I miss the record day reunion? I was just randomly kind of reminiscing about posting here and how much I miss getting into stupid forum arguments  Nice to see everybody popped in!

Yes you did! We sent you an email but maybe you don't use the one on your profile anymore?

Not to worry though, we hope to do the same thing next year. Just be sure to have an up-to-date email address by then.

Oh, all right.

Hello everyone. Happy to see you're all doing well. I've avoided this place for a long time because I prefer not to dredge up cringeworthy memories of teen edgelording, but now that it's been half a lifetime I suppose I can drop by...

I'm doing OK these days - a lot less neurotic and argumentative, anyway. Been in and out of third-level education slightly more times than is ideal, worked on and off in web dev and videography... I'll put this vaguely, because I'm still keen on my privacy, but let's just say I've finally found a somewhat remunerative way to put my one actual strength (English) to use.

Haven't really had the stamina for video games these last few years. I liked Rayman Redemption, though - and a couple of others, like Hades and Hollow Knight, have brought me back to those good old days of carefree mystery.

I can understand the need to be private. Personally im not usually the type to share personal info or talk about feelings/thoughts publicly these days unless i really need to. Otherwise I’d only share with certain people I know I can trust. Especially after that incident…

But anyways nice to meet you spiraldoor. Glad you seem to be doing alright! :)

My mom’s always told me that you could be any point in your life as an adult and come from any background and still land a job in the medical field. Although she’s been a nurse her whole life since living in the states I’m not sure how much of that is really true, or if she’s just stating that to try and pressure me into switching to the medical field because of….certain things. :oops2:

You’re right, there’s been quite a number of members that are either new to me as someone who appeared late or I haven’t seen in ages. But heck are you sure that was unrealistic?

You could’ve made a prediction a bit more unrealistic than that, master

spiraldoor wrote: Wed Sep 18, 2024 12:49 am Oh, all right.
Still, could’ve never predicted that in 1000 years

Well if the unexpected and unrealistic can happen, I’ll try and make a prediction too for next time!

Nice to see you stop by, spiral! I think it's actually the wise thing to do to accept that we weren't always wise, and to take pride in the progress we've made rather than be ashamed of the mistakes of our youth. Not that you were a particularly boonworthy member anyway, quite the contrary!

Glad to hear that all is going well from a professional standpoint too, life isn't only about playing video games after all.

I can't believe I signed up for this place when I was 12 and now I'm 27. And even back then I felt like I was late to the party, joining about seven years after the site's creation. This place is old!
