Never had it before with lasagna. Do you put it on the sides or do you make the lasagna with it?

Lasagna is really good, had that a lot when I was a kid. Pesto is great also :)
Mmmm….pesto. Love this stuff! Maybe even more than regular tomato sauce on my pasta

Interesting. Is that a regional thing cooking it like that?

My mom used to make macaroni salad often for parties. I didn't actually eat one though until I went off to college and had a mac salad at a Hawaiian place and thought, it was ok, just a little sweet for me.

Well it depends on where you’re from normally it’s like this side dish that apparently seems similar to potato salad or something. Where my parents are from though this dish tends to be sweet due to being either an app or dessert, along with the rather random nature of ingredients mixed in with other normal ingredients (like condensed milk, fruits, cheese, among other things).

Not exactly a post about my favourite pasta, but since this thread touches on the topic I felt I should share this article to which my attention was drawn today: https://www.ill.eu/news-and-events/news ... free-pasta :hap:
My first reaction to hearing that pasta had been placed in a neutron beam was to say it was one step away from Homer Simpson putting a donut in the reactor core:

I made some pici alla carbonara last weekend using ingredients I brought back from my Tuscany trip, that was really easy and delicious. :manger:

My mom made some really delicious chicken with alfredo sauce with some bowtie styled pasta noodles, which were really good. I feel like I could go for that again in the near future.

I'm usually a sucker for a good chicken alfredo anyway, even if it isn't authentic Italian.

oh ye.

Anyways, heres my grandmas recipe.

You're gonna need macaroni, Mayonise, carrots and celary.

step one, cook the pasta
Step two, soak the pasta in cold water for about a minute. This is so the mac doesn't stick togheor.
step 3, put in the fridge. Id say you'd get the best results with it being in the fridge over night.
step 4, cut the celery and Carrots. You can do this before you take out the macaroni.
step5, take the macaroni out the fridge
Step 6, take 1/4 of the mayo from the jar, mix.
Step 7: put the celery and carrots in.

Enjoy!
