In meanwhile, I wanted to share stuff with Magician I did.
He's more a mix of R1 and Origins, so that's why it is like this.
I have made two versions of his hairstyle just in case, and also in top corner it's him with more mechanic look with electroduced hair and for his magic hat, I had an idea that it could be a gift from Betilla, since she also has magic hat in educational games that basically works like Magician's, so I thought that she wanted to make something similar for him as well as a gift.

There must be something about Rayman because it seems to attract the most talented people. Every artist here leaves me speechless and all have their own unique styles.

Your use of colour is mesmerizing and I love how the characters sit at a twilight of clear outline and hazy. You brought this Magician to life and I want to see him in different scenarios. Also the font, is that font from Rayman? It's so perfect.

I'm relatively new to PC so it's super cool discovering these artist portfolios

And yes, it is the font from Rayman! It's Rayman 2 font I have used for this.

And I might do different stuff with Magician, maybe later, maybe in this future.

But these are nice mixes! Makes me think, what the magician could have been in a more positive light in Origins instead of what he actually ended up being in the game itself.

Thanks! Same here, I wish he was in more positive light and a bit closer to his personality like he had one in R1, because in my opinion, he's portrayed wayyy too negatively in Origins.

This time it's redraw of that 30th anniversary art for Ubisoft Montpellier, this time not in Clip Studio as usual, but in Rebelle 7!
My friends and I talked about the original art and how it had traced Brawhalla Rayman on it (along with Sargon from Lost Crown having veryy awkward posing, that feels traced too), and that art made me so sad that it motivated me to redraw it, hahah.
I still need to fix Rayman's second hand though, as I accidentally gave him two right hands, when I was using my own hands as references.

I was more focused on other stuff lately that wasn't Rayman like other games or more personal stuff, so I don't have much recent Rayman stuff... except two!

Wanted to make it Rayman 1 Rayman, hence why the shading and coloring are closer to it.

It's been a while since I shared Rayman-related stuff here, my apologies for that!
I was drawing less of Rayman stuff in favour of original stuff lately, plus also IRL stuff like upcoming graduation from my university (getting bachelor degree!) and also getting forced master degree as well, so it's been quite stressful time for me during last three months.

But anyway, here is some stuff I got for you!
Gonna start with Ales Mansay/Magician redraw of the original art from 2019 in S Notes!
This redraw like older one from 2022 were made in Samsung Notes.

Next is Origins version of Betilla in Rayman whiteboard!

And I guess as a bonus: gonna add some stuff for New Dawn Games, you know, these guys that work on Rayman 2: Redreamed. If you don't know - it's a fan-project that is basically remake of Rayman 2.
Like this Ludiv for example, that I made for the art collab for the announcement of the demo!

Had to compress her quite few times because of her size of her file, original is whooping 22 mb! And it's all cuz of 6k resolution.
