Focus on the Hoodoo before beating the Heckler, that should definitely make things easier

You referring to the Horrible Machine? Use regular curved shots with good timing. Or, you could just use charged shots since they give a little time before the meter goes down again.

Just don't fall off the arena after beating the first 2 phases of the battle with Reflux. Because then you'll have to start the entire game over.
