Maybe they just wanted to stand out

But, why green? Wouldn't purple be more fitting? I guess Rayman 2 has more of a green atmosphere, if that makes any sense. But purple is more "Rayman" than green.

They probably didn’t think much about it tbh, green stands out more than purple anyway

Clearly the green cartridge was Murfy's idea. Or maybe it does have something to do with the whole forest jungle thing.

I've seen all sorts of cartridge colors. Red, blue, black, yellow, gold/grey...I wonder if there's some photo showcasing all the unique official cartridge colors in 64 games?

By the way, I tried to summarize those changes in the corresponding wiki articles, but do not hesitate to amend them if I missed anything. I wasn't really sure how to refer to the demos where the information was found, for example.

Nice, I don't think I'd seen that before. Interestingly how it retains only one of the two differences, like you said; probably just an overshight!

Presumably it’s quite rare, only in some private collections, unless I’m wrong

Hah! A couple of years ago I specifically hunted for a copy of the PC game, just for the map and manual (even though I already had like 3 copies).

Aw I got my PC copy on GOG so it's digital. It's nice that it includes a PDF of the manual at lesat.

Physical copies of the game seem to be very affordable, even in mint condition, but don't come with the manual or map :(

I think I might still have mine at my family home, I'll have a look in a couple weeks' time.

In some versions of R2 there's actual voice-acting. Is there any mods or something that could perhaps add the voice-acting to the PC version? I LOVE R2 and it would be really nice to hear all of the dialogue instead of Rayman saying gibberish. :mryellow:

Most levels will maybe take like 10-15 minutes probably so you could knock out like possibly 4-5 per day

Looking at stats, it seems like it takes about 8 hours on average, so about a week?

Yeah, it's about 20-21 levels I believe? I don't exactly know lol

But it's pretty easy to beat and really fun!
