Would you pay more taxes if it meant receiving a pension when you retire?

Yes, the state should guarantee a pension for its citizens.

Yes, but a mixed model would be more efficient (50% state + 50% private pension plan, for example).

No, the state does not have to manage my money; I prefer to have it myself and opt, for example, for a private pension plan.

Charmander, it made the early game harder but I liked the challenge.

As for polls, Ad raised a good point, maybe we can at least set them to expire later, regardless of when they are actually renewed? I've also been more than once in a situation where I couldn't vote. :oops2:

Bulbasaur all the way.

Don't have a specific reason, but hey. He'll always be #1

Same here actually. I like the idea of leaving the poll open until we can get a new poll idea in and then doing the usual :)

Not a big fan of Pokemon, so I can't really pick an option now

So... Do you prefer extending the polls for 2/3 weeks?

I think 2 weeks should be good for more deep polls, like the last one, but ones like this should be only left open for one week

I'm even thinking, do they need an expiry date at all, if they are set to be replaced regularly anyway?

I don't think the polls need any expiry yeah, there's no point :chinois:

I've barely played any of the games, but I watched the anime religiously from when it started up till season 8. The furthest I ever got in one was 6 badges in Crystal. Chikorita was bae(leaf, he he), and likewise, I'm gonna go with Bulbasaur. I usually like water elements in media, but there's something super cozy about bulbasaur... I also think it has the best concept/design

Well at least it wasn’t rocks! Perhaps I should have just handed the flowers instead? :mryellow:

Anyways though i got no issue with choosing based on looks. I might probably do this if I couldn’t choose between 2

I couldn't vote for any of the options because I don't play Pokemon, but I'm glad to see a lot of participation!

The next one is about videogames too. The question is... Which game deserves the GOTY award this year?

I am a gigantic Balatro fan, I've been playing nonstop since I first got the game, and the game idea was so addictive that the creator of the game patented it so that casinos couldn't steal his idea. Also I've never played any other of the games so I cant make an opinion on them. (am planning on playing Metaphor: ReFantazio though).

I didn't play any of these games so I don't know who deserves GOTY the most, I only have a slight sympathy towards Astro Bot only because I like 3D platformers.
But imo Astro Bot is not a special 3D platformer, the internet went crazy over this game and they called it the best game of the year only because they never played a 3D platformer while Nintendo always made games like this and more original since ever..

I only know (or have seen gameplays) of three of the nominees. Perhaps what makes Astrobot special are the nods to the different Sony franchises; apart from that, it's a pretty simple (but not bad) platformer. The Elden Ring DLC is quite long, as long as any other game, but... Is it really necessary to nominate it? I don't know if the reason for including it is because none of the games convinced them or if there was some kind of favor treatment that we don't know about, but even if it's very good, this game was already awarded two years ago and I consider that it's better to give the chance to another one. Lastly, a lot of people have loved Black Myth: Wukong, although I have to say that it hasn't really caught my attention in the videos. Maybe if I played it my opinion would change, but that's my opinion as of today.

I'm gonna go with Black Myth: Wukong... it's an outstanding achievement from an indie studio. Astro Bot is great fun and the references are on point, but I'd hardly call it an outstanding achievement.
