OK, everyone! I expect I will start within a week.

Heads-up - I'm going to try to give more focus than usual to the handheld and mobile games - for GBA and Android. So go read some Raywiki and catch up!

Welcome to Season 142 of The Teensies Quiz Quest!

Almost at the one year anniversary of the last time I hosted. :) As always, the recommendation is to check the first post of this thread for the rules, if you are new here and unsure how it goes.

Question 1: Which Rayman 3 character is referenced by name in Rayman 3 (Game Boy Advance), but never appears?

I remember he gets impaled on some spikes, though I'm not sure if that's actually the last encounter with him.

Question 3: Mention three locations in Rayman 2, where there can be an endless "supply" of enemies. Note: projectiles such as bombs don't count as enemies.

Don’t know the exact locations, but there’s those doors that summon and endless supply of robo pirates

I'm gonna say those bits at the beginning of the Canopy and the Sanctuary of Rock and Lava where you're riding a barrel slowly across the marsh and Zombie Chickens come at you from all directions. Then there's the bit in the optional section of the Tomb of the Ancients where you're moving along a ceiling web, and likewise Zombie Chickens come at you from all directions.

The Tomb of the Ancients bit is correct and indeed what I had in mind.

As for the other two (I think you meant Bayou, not Canopy, BTW) - you can't really fight an endless stream of chickens there, can you? Because you have to stay on the floating platform that eventually takes you out of their spawning range. I mean, perhaps you could hack it somehow, but I was thinking of some other places where you can find endless enemies more "naturally". :D

Anyone may reanswer.

Apart from the obvious one, which is The Tomb of Ancients, I don't really know what to say, so let's try with Menhir Hills, if you consider the walking shell as an "infinite supply" (and the walking shell as an enemy), and Whale Bay (piranhas)?

Wait, I said Canopy instead of Bayou? :boon: I guess they're both short names containing the letter Y, but still

OK, I must say the walking shell is not what I had in mind, but since I said "no projectiles" and it is not a projectile, it is a valid answer.
The piranhas in Whale Bay, though, I don't think it holds - they are actually invulnerable and simply run away.

So right now we have 1 out of 3 given by Plum, and 1 out of 3 given by Dave. It wouldn't be fair to give the point to someone else, so let's make this interesting!

Plum/Dave - whoever can come up first with a third location gets the point - otherwise the question will be replaced in ~24 hours, to comply with the new rules.

Not sure about this one, but what about those annoying fluffy insects in the Sanctuary of Stone and Fire that appear right before teleporting to the two-way lava river that can lead you to the optional temple?

Wait, I thought that was the normal route in Tomb of the Ancients and the alternative was merely a shortcut.

Oh wait, now I remember! It's the hub in the Cave of Bad Dreams with the two pyramids you have to put the spheres on! The caterpillars regenerate infinitely...

That is correct! There is at least one other place with endless caterpillars, I believe in the Fairy Glade.
There are also never ending spiders in the pit in the first outside area of Tomb of the Ancients.

Anyhow!
