It's originally American but it was translated in many languages, "Vive le vent" being one of those translations. As for O Christmas Tree, it's originally German (O Tannenbaum) but it's also got a bunch of translations, like "Mon beau sapin".

I think it's natural for most people to only be aware of their own version of the song!

I feel like they should teach is more Christmas trivia, to be honest! All they’ve done is taught us about Christmas movies really

Re: Off Topic
I opened my gifts early yesterday (or shall I say last night?) I was only supposed to open 1 at midnight but my mom said I could open all of them
As you can imagine, they were all art related (except for a few)
I got a fancy art tablet, ink pens, alcohol markers and Sparks of Hope! I bought the Rayman DLC with my own money, and I gotta say, it's awesome! Not too far in yet, but I enjoy it so far!

I'm not quite sure but it's one of those ones with the screen, if that makes any sense (some drawing tablets don't have screens)Magelin wrote: Tue Dec 24, 2024 7:35 pm Whoa, that’s really awesome! What tablet did you get, anyways?

Also, geez, I gotta think too! I'm already happy with everything I got so I'm not sure either.

I remember we learned "Vive le vent" in first- or second-year French class (don't remember whichHunchman801 wrote: Tue Dec 24, 2024 11:24 amIt's originally American but it was translated in many languages, "Vive le vent" being one of those translations. In primary school we all learned "Oíche Chiúin", the Irish version of "Stille Nacht"

Damn, once again i should be more precise with my wording, i was meaning to ask what the tablet’s brand was…WPTheModder wrote: Tue Dec 24, 2024 9:03 pm I'm not quite sure but it's one of those ones with the screen, if that makes any sense (some drawing tablets don't have screens)
Well, anyway, i do own a screenless tablet myself! I want to use it more, but i lost the USB cable and i keep forgetting to buy a new one..
